The only other way is to win the green card lottery which is held every year, in which thousands and thousands of people participate and only about 10 max win each year.)

hey, stupid? where did I ONCE say anything about mexicans? Illegal is still illegal as is. They can get extensions on visas or apply to become fulltime US civilians. It's not THAT hard. It's just some work. People don't wanna put in that work? Too fucking bad. This whole thing was about illegal as is. Illegal is still illegal, they still should abide by the laws, even if you think they are rediculous. If you think they are.. try and get em changed.. if you don't like it and can't change em.. you can gtfo too to another country if you like another so much.

I don't care why they come here. It's not our problem they take our jobs and our money and don't pay any taxes, Food and sales tax is not paying taxes! They take 9 + billion dollars a year out of our economy and back to mexico and contribute nothing back into the system.

I have to pay taxes to so mexicans and other ilegals immigrants can get instate tuition but my neice can't get the same treatment because she doesn't break the law. Why not just say it's okay to be a criminal, life is better that why fuck following the laws and the rules!

sometimes i think may of you dont actualy realize how badly this will effect you economy. It was estimated at around 11 million illegal imigrants are in your workforce right now. If you just suddenly booted them, you'd be out 11 million maids, janitors, cooks, and just about every job you dont want to do. they do the jobs because you dont want to have to, and they're paid less on average. it wouldnt just be a bump in the road for your economy. Especialy with it in the sate it's in now.

Just because we decide to boot them doesnt mean that they will be gone tomorrow. That process would take place over the course of years and the economy of america would have time to adjust.

The way it is now there is no reason to stay in mexico if you dont have a job. If u cross the boder and get away with it you make good money by their standards. If you get caught you get a free meal and a bus ride back accross the border with no really negative consequence.

I agree that our entry policies may be a bit hard and that needs to change but border jumping needs to stop and the only way to do that is to make the laws for illegals stiffer. I also think that the amount of time that they have been in the country shouldnt matter as far as indviduals are concerned but if they have children that were born in this country they should be allowed to stay if they are no longer in need of living with their parents. The parents should be sent back even if they jumped 40 years ago.

Jesus christ, finally someone who knows what they're talking about. To sum it up, the only thing that needs to be stopped right now is border hopping. Thing is, if a child is born here then he/she automatically is granted citizinship. Visas should be extended from a 6 month stay to something more reasonable like a 2 year stay, and then you are allowed to come back depending on how long your Visa is valid (10 years is max right now, with 6 month trips back and forth a necessity).

Expecting people who come to America to obey American laws makes me ignorant how? Maybe it is hard to get in for a reason? Did you ever stop to consider maybe America doesn't want completly open borders for everyone to enter as they pleased? American government is there to work for American citizens...that does not include foreigners who want in. The US government works for us, not the foreigners.

If we went with 100% open borders we would get flooded with the poor. Social service would bankrupt the government trying to pay for all these new people on a form of welfare or social aid. Then our country would become as big of rat hole as they just ran away from. :mad:

Possible sequence: Price of those services go up due to labor shortage, those jobs become more deseriable due to higher wages, labor market balances out. End result? Whole concept is rediculous. If anything you should be supporting more legalized immigrants, not encouraging legalized "illegeal immigration". :banghead3: Visas does not equal citizenship. They knew that they couldn't stay when they got it, there is no reason to be upset about being expected to leave. They knew it before they came. If that concept is too difficult, maybe we should just remove the temptation and not allow long term visas. :roll:
