Illegal Immigrants, support or against?

Regardless of the content of your reference, since when is being 14th something one can be proud of when there are only 15 contenders in the game?

Sorry for the late response, but I believe the source was 14 out of 40. It doesn't really matter, though... I just get tired of people always bashing the US for being so stupid when in actuality they are not as dumb as people try to make them out to be. And it's not like I love the US or anything - I'm planning on moving to Canada for further education and then I'm going to try and become a citizen (I've already been accepted into Queen's University in Ontario :D).

Well 14 out of 15 was a dramatisation, but still, there is no compelling reason why the U.S. could not be the #1 most educated country in the world.

Blame the people for not wanting a decent education or taking advantage of the studies that lay before them. I know I'm guilty of the last one. If we do not care as a majority then why should anyone else?

Democrats want guest vote program... Oh, I mean guest worker program. (guest vote, cause the only reason thay support ILLIGAL immagrants, cause thay think thay can win there votes by being on there side).

Can't reward people who break law. If you say "we always welcomed illigal immagrints before" You could also say back in civil war "Africans were always slaves before" Times change, and nows the time to enforce boarder from illegals.

Think its all right for someone to rob a bank if it was to make a better life for there children?

Misinformation at it's finest. You couldn't manage to be more incorrect or innacurate. The guest worker program was proposed by the president. Which didn't go over very well with the party. The bill was, indeed, pushed by 8 democrats ... but they had 4 republicans with them.

How about Hillary Clinton? Rewind a few years "I AM AGAINST ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS"

*fast forward to now*

"THEY ARE JUST PEOPLE LOOKING FOR A NEW START! <3 ILLEGALS!"

John Kerry anyone?

#1 There is not a single politican who doesn't wave his or her flag in the wind. Republicans and Democrats are at heart not all that different, both will cater to whatever will get them votes at the time, so singling Hillary out for that is rather silly.

#2 One can be against illegal immigrants and still for that those people get to make a new start here. How? Simple. Once is against illegal immigrants, as in against them being illegal, but for them becoming legals.

i.e.
I am for immigrants but against illegal immigrants!
But, there are so many illegals, are you against them?
Yes of course, I am for making them legal so they do not have to be illegal anymore. I am totally against there being illegal immigrants.

Come here legally, or not at all. Leave when your visa is done.

Seconded. Although we are having problems over here with legal immigrants. Thanks to the EU's policy of "everyone has a right to live anywhere in the EU they want". Ergo; Britain is finding thousands and thousands of Eastern Europeans coming over here legally. I'm not against them coming but the numbers are getting ridiculous.
