Is it okay to MPK Gil-seller?

I'm not the person to MPK anyone on purpose, since training mobs will get me killed anyways, but if your killing gilsellers have fun, just watch out cause tehy will probaly stike back at you.

Revenge begets revenge. In war the cycle ends once one side is dead. Yet in ffxi there is no permanent death, so both sides can keep coming back forever. Having mpk wars with gilsellers is not going to solve the problem, only fuel further hatred between both parties. I don't agree with gilsellers, but mpks are unlikely to ever stop them.

The 'P' in MPK stands for Player...

As I see it the Gil Sellers are not players. So in essence, they are not subject to the same moral rules. You people treatthis game like it's real life. Fuck, it's not lik eyou are really going out and actually Killing people, as in ending thier lives. No, you are meerly retarding thier progression in the game is all, and destroying thier company's profits, which are only attained via a direct violation of the EULA anyways.

You people are jokes. You let them walk on you. They are a hell of a lot more organized than either the NA or the JP players, you know why? Because they get the HNM mobs and get to Sky... And push us around to do it, and we let them. As they sit back and laugh at us as some people PAY THEM TO FUCK US. Even if they weren't skilled.. they are then Idiots that fucking own you.

Kill em all and laugh at em until they get so pissed off they slip up and do something stupid. You get 200 people killing 18 'Elite Gaurd' Gil Sellers, and the 18 are consistantly being told on for MPK and they have to spread thier complaints over 200 heads..... You know who's going to win. We EACH get a limited amount of warnings; Who do you think is going to go through thier's quicker?

wow nice post, I couldn't agree more. 8)

And I'll repeat: if you support the MPK of gilsellers, get out there and kill kill kill. Don't stop until either they give up or you're banned.

Start tonight.

What makes you think I havent? :D
Korroloka Tunnel was pretty empty for a while....

I don't think of gilsellers as player. It'll be a long time before I get to the big HNMs anyway, but when I do any gilsellers will be my personal victems/enemies.

They're in the way of the players, and the players need to remove them. Not take money from them, help them, or be curteous.

I dont see anything wrong with it. Had a fun day in Ordelle's once with the Drk AF2 NM ^^;;

I cant think of anything but Jammers in Koroloka, but that would hurt normal players too >.>

You have to understand that it's more emotional than just crushing them. They've stepped on us enough.

Hahahah genious! Although i have yet to camp anything, nor am i high enough to do so, i would definately MPK gil sellers until i had my final warning. Also people tend to forget that alot of the gilsellers are BOTS! Meaning COMPUTERS, NPCS, NOT HUMAN. Thus their point i this game is not to progress further, but to earn themselves some real life cash. Regarldess if they are truley human players or not, i dont care, they need to go to hell and die.

Play Nice, Don't Monopolize!

Hundreds of thousands of people, like you, enjoy playing Final Fantasy XI. Everyone plays to have a good time. Friendliness, courtesy, and respect for others are as important in the online world as they are in real life. We encourage all players to be good citizens of the gaming community. Exploits, hacks, and monopolizing camp spots so other people can’t acquire good items are destructive to the whole game experience for everyone. Game economies are not helped by making it difficult for other players to play and enjoy the game. Any activity that makes playing the games less fun hurts us all. We encourage you to use common sense, common courtesy, and enjoy the marvelous adventures in the games. Help everyone have fun and all else follows.

hello and welcome to 6 months ago

Camping Roc one time turned out to be quite amusing....Gil sellers: Leol, Iawxrxf, Jaychou, and the rest of the gang had claim and were killing it. Took it down to around 55% HP and the Roc uses Bene for 15K~ HP...

Multiple times they've mpked at Serket..there's not much respect between them.

So I'm spammin the hell outa Stun and all of a sudden I see my chara start casting.........:twisted: Dowzer casts Stun. The Roc is stunned.....I run to it, Spinning Slash for 666 dmg :twisted: ......Then Creaativ tries to {Run Away!} ...but didn't make it far.

After about 5 minutes of gil sellers spamming emotes /cry /slap, etc on the Roc...it dies and drops a Healing Staff =D

{All right!}

so when they start to MPK then what? Turn the other cheek?

I've got one MPK on them, Shadowbinding a Landon on them downstairs in kuftal tunnel. I've wanted to pull and bind Guivre on them, but my XP parties are usually pussies and wonder why i would do such a thing.

Fact is, they are going to draw first blood, and we're going to have a 30 page flame about it. Might as well shock them and strike first.

I never said they wouldn't mpk you. What I was trying to get at is mpking them right back is not going to solve the problem. It might make your hurt ego feel better, but it doesn't stop them and never will. If anything it only servers to worsen the feud between the two factions. Turn the other cheek or mpk them, it makes no difference to me, neither solves the problem.

The only problem that I have with this is that by us taking "the high road" and not resorting to mpk's and other unsavory tactics to respond to their own, we won't change anything. If we don't do anything, the gil sellers aren't going to have an epiphany and just stop stealing or harassing us just to get gil. They aren't going to change, especially if there's no reason for them to.

While MPKing the gil sellers won't shut down their business, it will have some effect on it. Our responses are limited enough as it is with the nature of the game and calling GM's is woefully ineffective at removing the problem. The only option that will show results instantly is to take an active role in preventing them from making gil, namely to MPK them. If there was a constant campaign to MPK them, then they wouldn't be able to make as much, if any money, since they would be stuck fighting off the MPK mobs.

Under normal circumstances, I detest people who MPK, since it ruins people's chance to play the game. With gilsellers, however, they are already trying to ruin people's gameplay and this is the only method with any real chance at effecting their business. Of course, it would be great if people would stop BUYING gil, but there's really no way to stop those people other than to cut off the supply of gil that they're buying.

Hahaha, OK, So here is the NEW tactic for everyone in the HNM scene. You CC a gilseller, MPK them if you get the chance, Nuff' said. LOL, Serket was camped recently and it just had to be this way, so if we're ever going to get them to stop, do it, No harm or foul against any legit LS. Kireek brought every Weapon in Garliage and whiped 'em out. Funny has all hell, jesus that was just what was needed to be done. They got their Serket, but they paid for it for all of their Gorrilla tactics. Just Dont have any sympothy for thier java script Voke lol. Your puting down 1 guy, and his 12 PC's. I first noticed this when they started going down, they had to pull away because only 2 people [Max] were playing, they had to jump to the mages while Creaativ tanked, and Creaativ wouldnt even put up any shadows, until Smalldraken and Xaiwfiax [whatever] stopped moving.
