I will prob get this new game. But don't know if I'll be taru again. Thinking of being a hume this time
 
When FF 14 comes out. I foresee FFXI being a ghost town lol.
 
We'll get to relive all those old memories and maybe even get our own FFXIV Colbwa saga 8D
 
Will SE learn to get better GM support, though? And will they be assholes again about releasing ingame secrets?(Ie, Latent triggers, AV, ect)

The graphic boost, while cool, doesn't really interest me as much as a good support staff does.

That and I hope they allow some UI modification for PC users. So we don't have to hack the game again *cough*

Think different races will still have thier respective advantages? Taru with MP, Galka with HP, etc?

Or will it be changed to tailor to everyones wants?
 
I'm not wasting another 5 years of my life on a video game. Once ffxi dies then so does my online gamer career.

The thought of having to start all over again as a level 1 noob makes me ill....
 
The beginning of MMOs is always my favorite part. The exploration and figuring out everything and everyone else knows just as much as you.

I still have those. I tried to solo LoO a couple of times not too long ago.

They're not gonna outright kill FFXI. I'm sure they still live by the "as long as someone's playing" motto.
Although I do forsee that a good portion of the XI servers will be shut down/merged.

I hope so. I love my Taru MP. and the fact that we're 10x cuter then any other race. :3

It's weird, you lot are saying that. But I havnt completed COP, or ToAU, or started WoG missions or fully completed RoZ....

I'm now more motivated to do that before FFXIV comes out. So plenty of time. ^_^
