I didn't put any words in your mouth in this thread, so I don't even know what the fuck you're rambling on about. Go back to talking about conspiracies and mayans.
Nice
Skaw said:If you're talking about changin the quote, that isn't putting words in your mouth. It may have been your opinion, but your opinion on the subject is dead wrong.
My opinion has nothing to do with it. I play the most violent games ever made. I'm also able to see and understand Jacks reasons for for being so. It's not rocket science.
And about the quote changing, it was you who complained first, you even took it as insult. Seriously if you can't take it, don't dish it out.
Skaw said:Video games can be as fucked up or tame as they want to be. Without a parent or another adult to educate a good grip on how things in the world work, a child shouldn't be doing anything even remotely dentrimental to development. Even the tamest of video games have actions that translate in to deadly effects in the real world. Mario may be able to survive a fall from several stories, but there are chance a 6 year old won't.
Even you can see it, but YOU do not fight it like Jack does. Your conditioned to dislike Jack to a point where your consumed by all of this, and wouldn't be caught dead in the same air as Jack. These games are of this place, and not to where your headed.
Again I see where Jack is coming from, no one wants to admit games are bad. I think they are bad for us as much as i enjoy them.
Skaw said:A parent is one hundred percent responsible for their childrens development and actions because of so. Nobody or nothing else. If you don't want your child to exposed to violence, death, sex, drugs, whathaveyou, then you better be trying your damnedest to keep them away from it. Chances are good that they'll find out about or experience it somehow, and thats when you educate them about it. Don't just say "It's bad." Tell them why. Let them know the real consequences of actions such as shooting a friend with a gun, or playing with fire.
It's not happening as it should, the world is getting more and more corrupt. That alone indicates that parenting itself is not as discipline as it use to be. What I'm saying is, "simply saying what a parent should do does nothing for the situation". And that is all we hear, is "what parents should do". I don't mean to discredit all parents, there are a large number of parents who raise their children very well by whatever standard they are focusing on. All I'm saying children will access the forbidden entertainment. They know about it, they talk about it, they share it and play it, like may of us did when we were small.
Skaw said:You may be fine with a government becoming a Nanny State, but I sure as fuck am not fine with it.
Yes stand for your addiction.
Skaw said:It's not everyone elses job to keep your child safe from/educated on concepts you don't agree with.
It's not selfish if the world looked after one another, including the children. The world is far from that though. We're just moving on up aren't we ?
Skaw said:Also, quit being easily provoked if you honestly took offense with editing you opinion to one more correct on the situation. Get the sand out of that cooter.
I had nothing to say about it until you started complain about being insulted, and something along the lines of you expecting me to do so. Again if you can't handle it, don't dish it out.

Over all I can step away from preferences and see what "is" and what "is not". Children playing violent games "is", as parents keeping up with what their children are doing, "is not"
I know the games "I" play are very corrupt. I like every other gamer would have been better off without them. I like video games, and like any other gamer, looking back at all the time spent playing the game, could have been spent doing something more productive.
I say games are fucked up. YOU do not disagree. As a matter of fact you say, "They can be as fucked up as they want to be".
My thoughts on Jacks mission are pure. I don't like it cause I LIKE my addiction. I'm not done with gaming yet. But that is no reason to NOT be able to understand his reasons. For starters it's not to be a prick.
