is it just me, or do the majority of JP white mages either suck, leave without notice, or just fuck around and watch you die, then not raise you?
I was out playing with Blm, seeing what I could do on it.. poked at a Tough Tabar, sleep nuke technique.. was going great till a bind lasted about 1 second and it.... out of nowhere.. double attack'd me, first time in the HUNDRED's I have fought.. so I die (yay) and this asshole Whm just watches, walks away, casts haste/protect III on himself, then runs off again..
Is it REALLY out of your way to cast Raise? Total disgrace to Whm if I ever saw one.
I have only once in my life ignored a dead body because the person was absolute and utter scum.. I even have Chainspell Raise'd full parties.. This is bullshit.

No, not ALL JP WHM so shove that "stereotype" crap.. This is a GOOD DEAL of them.. Some are great, but lately I am close to popping up NA ONLY in my comment.

NA hates JP
JP hates NA
you made your bed sand now lay in it lol :P
can not stay where EUs are in that postion as JPs and NAs all seem the say and help out lol.
You do not have to raise some one you know that.

Haha looks like the JPs elitism on races finally caught up to them. I've noticed that the last several parties I've had with mostly JP members were sub par at best >.>;

i dont know, ive met alot of really nice jp people. lots of good players. not to say they all are, because they arent. but the same can be said for NA.

there are lots of NA's who wouldnt have raised you either. i wouldnt blame it on a race, just rude people in general.

As I said, it's a trend lately.. I've had people who didnt speak any english on my flist.. damn fine people at their jobs and in general, I can communicate decently with them but that's not the first time I've had to wait for a friend to come as people walk by.

Your fault for dying. Next time either use a RR item when you solo or don't bitch when you die. It isn't their fault that you were unprepared and they have zero obligation to raise you when you die from your own mistakes.

It isn't anyone's obligation true... but this is what differentiates a player that will be respected and given gratitude verses a player that won't.

I personally will heal and raise anyone I see when I pass. I think this is common courtesy because I sure would appreciate the same act of kindness if the same fate were to fall upon me.

I have a lot of respect for players that will go out of their way to help, vs a player that will just walk by. They are not obligated to, however by making the choice to help just "because" and not needing a reason makes that person a better one in my eyes.

Or you can go fuck yourself. People like you give others a bad outlook. A WhM has a job to cure raise and tele, if they couldnt cast Raise on people outside PT maybe I'd agree. Since they can, its a common courtesy. No, there is no "obligation". Remember that when you need a tele/raise/D2/help with anything that they have "no obligation" to help.
Fuck you. ^^

Zer is in a good mood and said it better... she is also more tactful. I still stand by my post, she just said it better.

lol swearing mithra :P
i dont think whm are here to be tele whores like a rdm is a reshesh hore lol but most of what u said is good

Or you can shut your pie hole. You are to cheap to buy/use RR items? To fucking bad. You went at something unprepared and paid for it.

I'm not gonna waste my time helping people fix their problems that they could have easily avoided themselves if they rubbed their last 2 brain cells together. It isn't rocket science that you might end up dying if you try to solo something.

I got alot of tells from people thinking I was racist the one time I put that in my search comment. Was about 2 years ago though, I thought it was the thing to do since the JP did it... -.-

Waah, waah, I got myself killed and someone I don't even know didn't fix my mistake for me, waah.

Sure, it's frustrating, whatever. You fucked up, your problem.
Just because someone doesn't do something nice for you doesn't make them an asshole.
Personally, I'm going to step over bodies from now on. The last person I stopped to raise didn't even say thank you, instead wanted me to go out of my way further to do shit for him, and then got himself and me killed...

I'll raise a dead body 99% of the time, but there was that noob MNK on the ferry who wanted to "solo" the ghost and expected me to PL him through the fight when I just wanted to fish. He died and deleveled and I watched him homepoint.

The two idiot BSTs who died in the Crawler's Nest the other day because it didn't occur to them to charm the beetle tryng to kill them got raised, but they didn't even /bow or /salute or show any gratitude. Kinda irritating.

It sucks that the JP WHM didn't raise you, but taking it out on the broader JP WHM community is just cheap.

My White Mage made 59 last night and within 20 minues of us disbanding I was in the Dunes PL'ing and Raising people. A White Mage doesn't have an obligation in any legal sense unless you count a person's obligation to treat others with some respect but I suppose that's not fashionable these days when everyone's so focused on themselves. It's not all entirely selfless on my part of course...I like to help people who appreciate it enough to say thank you at least. Some people wouldn't say thank you of course but that's down to them and doesn't affect me. That's my long-winded way of saying I would have R2'ed you at least lol =)

I wish I could find your post on "WHM Apathy" about now.
