Just a couple tips for all the retard melee classes

I don't know SCs at all (well, I do, but only because they SC with my BF ^^)
That being said, it's why I'm never on any actual melee class, only WHM/SMN..
As for sneak/invis/deod, I heard they're not only dependant on your enhancing magic/mind, but also the target's mind (which seems to be true, as it wear off much, much faster on some classes as opposed to rdm/smn/whm/pld..)

pomp - yeah sometimes it seems the items last longer then other times
it seems the spells last longer (when cast onto me). Necky went with
myself and a group to do 5-1 mission. I brought my own stuff but at
times Necky just wanted to cast on me i guess. Sometimes her spells
seemed to last better, then other times my items seemed to. NP man
it just seems like both are random.

davio - yeah, but it was fun right? That was my first ballista ever. I joined
the "open" group just because it was available. I just wanted to sample
it right away. I knew that the open group would be all 75's. Yeah I was
laughing my ass off when me (49) was SURROUNDED by 75's. It was
even funnier when the TIPS would show up after a petra. "Eliminate
another player to attain breach status". LOL I kept looking for someone
who was mortally wounded but it didn't work. From now on I'll pick a
level capped versioin until 75. good game tho thanks for kicking my ass
around.

your funny, i'm serious you are. again, you make the assumption that i'm all about attacking and overlook TP gaining. hey genious, i'm able to use 2 and sometimes even 3 WS per fight. and uh...in case you didn't know, you have to ATTACK to GAIN TP. if something goes awry and i end up not being able to use at least 2 ws in a fight, what, i suck at sam and i'm supposed to go pick another job? fuck that i say. if that situation DOES come up (which it almost never ever does) it's because i had enough TP to use a WS but we killed the mob and i couldn't use it to make a sc, which is when i use WS unless there is no sc to be made (which, like my situation, almost never happens) and your comment about affording oils and powders? uh...maybe you've never heard of reading all of a thread? i've said twice that i have way more than enough to buy stacks of oils or powders if i needed to. so before you make your assumptions, why don't you read all of a thread to see if your statements have any logical basis and can't be proven wrong by a past post, ok?

2. Going towards to camp next to Valley of sorrows I only had to use 2 of each potion. Witch brings me to point vang failed to get across. A stack of these potions doesnt get eaten like candy. If you know where to go, you'll only use roughly two of each.

3. Last I looked Duffan is wearing and Ochidotes Kote, Selling for 6OOk If he can afford that he can afford 14k. Witch Duffman Kote is a big fucking waste on SAM, very bad move.

4. If you can't afford to buy shit that you need, then don't level up. Take some time and make some money. It's not hard.

thank you Duffman for finally pointing out what this thread is REALLY about. i mean, why call it "advice to all the RETARTED melee people" if vang didn't like melee to begin with? why not call it advice to melee jobs? that makes much more sense i think. vang created this thread with his oil and powder shit as a blanket statemetn so he could bitch about what he thought of melee classes. i'm glad this has finally been brought to light.
