I don't know why people hate Justin Bieber so much. They should just leave her alone.

It is very much ambient. Totally enjoyable. Pretty nifty actually.

I've honestly never heard any of his music, I assume you guys are making fun of him. But just listened to this and it's has a lot of similarities to trance and the music I listen to. I don't know if this is the type of music he normally plays but this is actually really good. That or I'm just really high.

That's a remix of one of his songs, though, not the actual song. This is the real song:

The two sound worlds apart - which is rather hillarious as the only thing that's changed is the speed.

Lols.. ya'll should stop picking on that little boy and let him make his bad kiddy pop music.

I turned on our music channels countdown last week sometime... and sat there terrified at what the industry as a whole has become.

It's really really sad what the younger generation is listening to now. When I was 13-14-15 I liked my parents music, I liked my generation of music, pop hiphop and rock. These days... there's no hope =(

Not really. I hate how people always go "back in my days" on everything. That's the problem people, it's not your day anymore :/ Trends change, much like how mock movies were super popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Of course the music channels are going to play what the 'young' people want to hear, music channels in general are aimed at teenagers. Well maybe not VH1 Classic but we'll leave that one.

My opinion? Music is great right now. Then again I am a whippersnapper and need to get off y'all yawn right?

The little that has come out that I feel is decent I wouldn't group together, but I suppose I may have. There is a select few artists/groups/bands that have come out that I think are true talents, something/one that may have some longevity to their 'career'. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that a large percentage of artists/groups/bands are making their break on the coattails of others. Whether it's by sampling or remixing/covering songs. I just don't see much natural talent anymore...

Well, I don't want to seem rude but I know in my genre I follow (pop and some RnB) there has been a high amount of talent, and they are mainstream so you can't miss them.

Lady GaGa (good song writer, amazing Piano Skills and a great voice to back it up, listen to her acoustic poker face version if you need proof), Christina Aguliera has one of the most amazing voices seen in a long long time, Beyonce also has an amazing voice, David Jordon may as well be the next Prince, Ellie Goulding, Leona Lewis, Gwen Stefani has a great voice also. Oh I could go on and on, I don't know how Rock is doing however. I don't follow it myself, how do you dance to rock in a club exactly?

I agree with DW here; the "older" generation often dislike what the younger generation listen to, even back in "our days". A lot of older people absolutely LOATHED rock when that came out, saying its the devil's music etc. etc. Nowadays a lot of people love it, even the old type of classic rock that people hated back then. Music evolve, just like fashion and television do.

I listen to all types of music except for death metal etc. I love "old" music (Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel etc.), music from the 90's (The Cranberries etc.), but also modern music like electrica, house, trance, hip hop, modern rock, punk. I also enjoy Jazz, classical music, blues etc.

There's a LOT of good music today - but a lot that absolutely suck too. But there's music that suck from all generations, and is far from something that's unique to today's music.

Morcheeba, I know you're busy talking and I'ma let you finish, but Justin Bieber is the best pop singer of all time!

Speaking of which, apparently Kanye and Bieber will be in a song together soon <_<.

Anywho, as much as I don't care for his music, I respect the kid. He went from singing on the internet to fame and if you can do that, I have a lot of respect for you.

I hate how he came to fame... mainly due to jealousy

I don't think I'd like to see any man dance to the artists you posted either lol. I suppose a girl could make it interesting, but still.. not really dance music imo.

doesnt matter who it is, if they are famous, someone will hate them. Many just jump on the band wagon. Ive pretty much never really heard any of his music myself, but hey, he is out there doin things that most of us only dream of doing, and when someone else has something you want, you get jealous and hate!
And btw, he wasnt hit by a water bottle. Its a t-shirt with a pack of sour patch kids in it, watch it in slow mo and you can see the shirt unwrap and the candy fall out. the Bieb himself posted this on the video somewhere.

Remixes. ;)

You don't ever hear an unremixed pop song in the club we go to for the most part. And when they do, it's time to get a drink while they play it.
