How stupid of me. You should use 2 condoms! That way you can be 190% sure she won't get pregnant!

Isn't the pearl index for Birth Control Pills + Condom with Spermicide near 99.9% effective? Pull out after this is just taking super precautions.

I think it's something like Condoms 97% BC Pills 99% and Abstinence 100%

Something like that.

The failure rates for various birth control methods are higher than most people are told. According to Planned Parenthood the effectiveness of the pill is about 92%, condoms only 85%. That's the stats for typical use, most of the time what's quoted is the "perfect use" stats that the manufacturer of the products put out based on prediction models that never actually happen when 2 people are having sex.

Yeah, lol. According to them, sex is a completely predictable even that will always go exactly as planned. Heh.

Am I doin it right?

Actually the effectiveness of Condoms at 97% BC pills at 99% and abstinence are correct, the reason planned parenthood might have higher failure rates is because teenagers are dumbshits and don't know how to use them (ie, uneducated about them in school, don't understand that BC pills have to be taken EVERY FUCKING DAY and not when they remember or have sex, etc.). Abstinence only programs don't work as far as preventing pregnancy.

Also, for those of you who find 11-13 yr olds having sex disturbing/shocking or even them thinking about sex, pull your fucking heads out of the ground! Some kids start puberty as young as EIGHT years old, and once that starts, the other/same sex start to become appealing in a sexual way. It's biology; your body wants you to have sex and reproduce. I know i hit puberty at 10-11 and was thinking about sex at that age, just to give an example.

and for my opinions on sex ed, they should definitely teach kids about all this in 6th grade if not earlier, whether or not the parents want them to teach it. That way we know are kids are getting educated about sex and not going into blindfolded. American society needs to be much more open about these issues instead of shying away from them as "taboo."

Like Sweden? Our comedies with naked people are allowed from 11, 7 if you bring a parent. That includes harsh language such as "Aren't you going to fuck me?" etc.

I was exposed to that kind of stuff as a kid and i turned out fine, :) not necessarily hardcore porn though... What are you talking about though, just haha naked people or like erotica? Either way, kids might as well know about it.

Nakedness is fine, i'm fine with public nudity (even the people i don't necessarily want to see naked ><) It's the human body, deal with it; but christianity has this whole shameful view of nudity and sex that's been forced upon many people.

I'm exposed to it all the time too, lol, I live in Sweden :P Just saying I think US is a bit too harsh and hush-hush about the subject of sex and bad words.

And I'm talking about, these 2 guys, a man and a woman, sitting around the dinner table, when the woman reaches down to scratch herself down there, and the conversation goes as follows:
Man: Why the fuck are you sitting naked at the dinner table anyway? Can't you put some clothes on?
Woman: No, I have an infection. I need to keep it drafty
Man, standing up
Man: Well, I need to keep it drafty too!
Man pulls off pants and underpants
Woman: For fuck's sake, stop being so childish
Woman stands up and walks away

And that's still rather mild. I haven't talked about the santa fucking mom in the hallway when two kids walk downstairs, or the naked guys in the bathhouse talking about how good their women are in bed. Or the homosexual guy giving his straight friend a blow job in bed, to prove that he's better than his girlfriend.

If I EVER told my mother no, there would be hell to pay. Before I was 18, if I had told her no, I would be living in a room with nothing but a bed and school books, and my meals consisting of little more than bread and water, would be brought to me. I would be allowed to leave to wash my dishes and do my laundry, while she stood next to me glaring in that way only she can. Even now that I am 26 years old, I know better than to tell my mother "no". My goal in life is to make her happy and make her proud of me.

I think you're taking what I said in the wrong way. If you have a toddler, you know that they are not nearly 100% obedient or cooperative with most daily tasks. Your two year old WILL tell you no, refuse to do something when asked the first time, or throw a tantrum. It happens. I never said there was no consequences for his actions, but I'm certainly not throwing him into the hole for expressing his new found freedoms or frustration with being unable to fully express his wants and needs verbally. (Off-topic btw).

Also, I never said kids should not know consequences of certain sexual actions and I thought that would be inclusive of teaching them right from wrong. Certainly the average human mind would at least want to know why certain things are off limits, like in Uzor's example of disciplining a child.
