Koga Hands Vs. O Kote?

it doesnt let you input monster eva/agi on there. that's going to skew things.

I was using much higher defense, vit values; 300 / 50 is pretty low. However, when I checked stats for say Greater Colibri, lvl 82, 327 def, 67 vit using your setup the AF+1 still came out ahead by an average of 19 dmg. So, I stand corrected; AF+1 > kote for merits.

heres your calc^

according to your calc, attk is the worst setup i can have...
Yes, stacking on more STR will lead to slightly higher max WS numbers(wow, 9 more damage); but stacking on attack will lead to higher average WS numbers. You might get into that 9 more damage range very rarely, but you'd hit get closer to the max with the attack than with the STR setup. Not saying that Kote > AF+1, just that only looking at the max damage number isn't the best determinant for max damage overall.

that would be great, but where else would it be possible to stack attack with that setup? personally i have noticed a trend that okote gave me lower average ws numbers. which is why i stopped using them in the first place.

I've come to the same conclusion Eiteen has.

I also parse a higher average with af +1 than kote.
