Multi-Plat Left 4 Dead

and the new hunter knockback. I mean like, fuck.

Yeah, that's terrible too. Especially when it rains the fuckers in Survival.

Boomer is also fucking powered up beyond belief just because of the volume of infected. They still suck most of the time, but if you manage to get hit by one, you might as well just get up and make yourself a sandwich.

I hate pubs though. So many of them just blow all their primary ammo on common, then bitch that they need cover to hit up the ammo refill every minute.

Oh yeah. And some levels have such horrid ammo placement that you need to glitch the level to last beyond 5 minutes.

Saving grace is that they're not Versus tanks, thus you can autoshotgun them down like cake.

Yeah, the tanks are pretty wimpy health wise in this mode. I've noticed you can't pull them off people by simply smacking them with a melee attack like normal AI tanks though.

I just bought this. Give me your steam account thingies.

Mine's in my signature.

Marajade, something I've noticed that happens a lot is that tanks like to get stuck in places depending on where you're camping and where they're coming from. On the Runway in Dead Air if you camp on the truck behind the fuel tank, and a Tank comes from behind the transport plane, they like to climb and fall off the stacked luggage between the plane and the truck.

I've seen them get stuck underneath of the catwalk on the lighthouse in Last Stand when I camp by the pipe on opposite corner of the same side as the ladder. They'll just stand there doing their idle animation. Sitting anywhere else and they just climb up that spot. I've seen screenshots of multiple tanks stuck on the pipes in the sewer level of Death Toll.

Yeah, they can get really bad pathing sometimes. We held out for 9 mins in the hospital level by finding a place where the tanks had to climb over a bed/thing to get us, thus crouching and getting dead.

Easiest map for survival imo seems like terminal from what I've played so far. Hanging out in the bar area.

Played Survival for the first time last night. We started in the hospital level, I forget what it was called, but the one where you are waiting for the elevator. We hid in one of the patient rooms and figured we would be safe shooting at the doorway.

As soon as it started, the wall behind us burst and a horde flooded us. then another horde started to come in from he ceiling on top of us. We lasted a 1:15. It sucked. We had no idea what was gonna happen once we called the elevator.

After trying a bunch of levels, we managed to Bronze a few, but at the end of the night our longest time was only 5:23 I think.

We tried hiding in the brick garage in Lighthouse, thinking "they can't break through brick, we'll be safe here. Once again, we were wrong. Lighthouse destroyed us the three times we tried it.

Crash Course. Thoughts?

Also, picked it up for PC. 15$ too good to not buy.

Its fun but I found it to be buggy as hell, they really need to release a patch to fix some of them. None of them were game crashing bugs but alot of graphical ones, just plain annoying :P.

Crash Course is alright, nothing new, nothing bad :P good fun over all but kinda felt about on par as the mods we get more frequently. I hope L4D 2 is better and has more replayability for me (though I haven't pre-ordered yet.. I would rather try the demo without having to preorder then decide)
