The issue is fairly cut and dry people, they didn't ninja it, cheat it, borrow it and not return it, or be leant it by the LS bank with expectation to have it returned. Jamal n co., you're being dicks, and you probably know it. Move on.

This...especially the part about not having a return policy for the items that can be transferred from one player to another. Ultimately it was this shortsightedness that has caused all this e-drama. But who can blame him? He expected that people who lotted and won a piece of gear would be committed to the shell. Which leads me to...

What's in bold means the drops were to go to the players who were going to stay committed to the long term success of the shell once a more permanent lotting system was set. Getting a drop and then ditching the shell for whatever reason in no way helps the linkshell. By lotting it, Hollie basically agreed to the long term success of the shell. This gives justification to ShakenBake's call for it to be returned. But again, without a concrete return policy, there is nothing much they can do about it.

Trying to diffuse the situation with false claims of dropping the item was the wrong way to go about things. It only raised the anger of some people and caused more e-drama.

The shell hadnt been together long enough to FULLY establish rules as to WHO could free lot and who couldnt. You seem to forget that most, if not all shells, have probationary periods where member CANT lot on anything unless it goes to free lot. This item went to free lot, so your feeble attempt at an argument gets shot down.

This is also the FB, so he can take digs at you if he wants as long as he stays on topic. Don't get so butthurt about it. But it seems as if you also hold a grudge. If you're going to take shots at him, don't condemn him for doing likewise. As you've basically said before, practice what you preach. I'm not on the free Kotsu bandwagon, but unless you could provide conclusive evidence Kotsu is behind it would this not be abuse of admin power? If he's not, you would be punishing him for something he had no control over. (If you did it. I'm not saying you will or will not)
To sum: Jamal takes FFXI way to seriously and seems to like to ruin people's e-lives if they break his trust. Kotsu is on read-only and can't defend himself right now. Hollie has a Zahak's Mail he doesn't know what to with (hint: think of your friends when making this decision). Hexx takes QCDN way to seriously and wants threads to die by continually posting in them. And Miros likes to abuse his admin power. Fun times. It seems like there is one or two users who need a break from QCDN that could use a Dejavu type of ban.
