How is hollie losing a rep for earning a freelot item and then getting harrassed in return? I dont know about you but after 3 hours of something I wouldnt want to hear crap about how i'm some slave earning back something that was freelot.

By "until about Friday" do you mean "until the next few months"?
 
Well, to start off, I think that Jamal might have held a bit too hard of a grudge on this person to begin with, I'll never agree with anyone bugging people's friend's because of their actions. Not their friend's faults, why go to them?

That aside, at this point, any argument Hollie could have possibly had is gone because frankly he's acting just stupid about this whole thing. It was pretty obvious from the start that there was going to be bad blood between them no matter how the situation was resolved, but there was no need to go around saying all of this stupid stuff about tossing it and changing servers just to egg people on.

Besides, it's a fucking Zahak's mail. It's not even that great of a piece for DRG. Assault Jerkin is better.

Again, I'm pretty sure that he is not going to give it back without him getting something in return. I know I wouldn't. And Hollie is a guy.

Hollie was going to stay in the shell longer, but since a point system was put in, (after he got the Z. Mail) it was not going to work for him or Kotsu because they don't play much and wouldn't get anything out of the shell. Hollie also just doesn't like point systems, I don't like point systems myself actually.

Kotsu vouched for him from the beginning. Kotsu tried doing the same thing again. I didn't respond to Kotsu saying he shouldn't be the one to do it, Khidir I'm sure remembers my original post in his thread:

"If this is who I think it is, I HIGHLY recommend not allowing them to come"

Kotsu himself then responded with Hollie's name, and how he'd vouch for him again. This is where it went to PM, where you can find them all in the other threads.

Again, I'd have much rather the argument stick between myself and Hollie. That's obviously an impossibility, as anything that's Hollie's business involves Kotsu.

As far as the stats, it's the sentimental value to the shell. Certain people have posted that I could just forget about it and let it die. Don't forget that NONE of this would have needed to happen had it been handled appropriately by Hollie from the start.

As a sign of good will to Kotsu, I kept this off the flameboard from the start. I thought it could have been resolved, still believe it can be resolved outside of qcdn. Now I have 3 flames aimed at me for the issues one person could have handled:
One where Khidir handled it properly, but still my points came across. It should have ended there.
Kotsu then attacked my personal life. Nothing else really needs to be said about how this has nothing to do with the subject at hand, he's just tired of being wrong.
Finally, the weakest flame of all, Hollie's himself. I suggest that you (meaning both of you) stop trying to win, and give up. You have 0 ground to stand on, rather than giving back to the shell something that you didn't earn, you try to flame me in retaliation for your OWN actions.
 
I'm still trying to figure out why farming zeni, ONCE, and coming to ONE event, entitles the person to anything from the shell. Even in Dynamis, you need to wait a few weeks, and come to at least 4 events before you can get anything. Hollie got lucky and ran, thats all there is to it.
 
It happens all the time. I've had it happen in plenty of my shells. I don't recall anyone else dragging on a conversation for this long for an item.

Perhaps they got lucky and ran, and never properly repaid the shell with some effort. Perhaps the shell should not have let certain people lot the item in the first place. Perhaps the person shouldn't have lotted. 3 months later, STFU already.

I know people said that we shouldnt have let them lot, but how would anyone know that one of the first LS events, yes one of the first, the person would lot and run? I dont get it.

Also this whole mess began because Jamal suggested that Hollie not be let come to some event being organized, I dont even know what it is, and then Hollie made this thread, look at the OP.

Everyone telling us to STFU but take a closer look here. Sneaks you as well as I know that people dont change, and all Jamal did was warn the people on event organizing that Hollie is not to be trusted, and it snowballed into this.
 
that's a bit of a red herring there but it's not the first time jamal definitely did more than just warn people, I'm not really into nitpicking or rehashing but that's just something to point out if it was just a warning then the posts would have stayed in my thread but they're currently gone

I agree. Nobody can possibly know such a thing. Stranger things have happened to be certain. Yet, the fact remain that Hollie was allowed to lot the item and, under those circumstances, fairly walked away with the item...3 months ago.

Again, maybe Hollie shouldn't have lotted it. Maybe you should have let him lot it. But he did, and the LS did. Done. I understand a simple warning. I also understand that many people don't change. Some do. All I see 3 months after this happened is a lot of dumb crap from people who don't know how to change.

Also let me take this time to remind people that things only have to matter to you if you make them matter to you. you don't have to care about what some people say about you on an internet forum. Considering dropping a crappy peice of gear you could sell for a decent amount of money simply because you can't handle the drama you started by making a thread that no one is even forcing you to read is just stupid.

my recomendation(if you are still reading this) is if you think you deserve the gear you should keep/sell it, if you feel you don't you should give it back, its as simple as that.

I know what I would do but each person must make their own choices.
