True, when it comes to your own server. In this case, he's gone, why push it any more? I mean, not like he cant change his name and all when switching servers.
 
Think of it this way: Some new guy shows up on Quetz. Wouldn't you have wanted to know ahead of time that he was going to jack zones? I would have. There's a fine line between warning about someone's potential escapades and saying "This fucker is a fuck, kill on sight."

A known thief is watched carefully inside of a store, not outright tackled and dragged out.

If anyone on this forum cared enough about it to go to say.....BG or some other server specific forum just to give out a warning, I'd say they have WAY too much time on their hands bro.

Dont get me wrong, I understand where you're coming from (more so cuz your shell's zone was one of the ones jacked) but I guess maybe I'm just not THAT vindictive.

It takes like a whole two seconds to make a thread on BG to say "Someone named Shaj who is a blah blah blah and blah blah blah so be careful." I mean, really it's not that hard to do.

Seriously what do you care? For people who are interested (and I would be one of those if I were considering inviting him into my shell or having anything to do with him in general), it's a heads up. Easy to say "hey leave him alone now" if you weren't the one that got fucked over. But there's nothing wrong with warning people against his bullshit so they don't have their time and efforts wasted and get burned too. It's not about pettiness, it's about giving a shit about what happens to fellow players who aren't total assholes.

Even if a player warning isn't posted about him, they have background checks for linkshells who screen their recruits.

My shell was one of the ones that got fucked when Absolution first came to this server (SanctusDynamis) and Shaj was, at first, a member of that shell. I honestly dont care what the dude decides to do, but the witch hunt thats goin on here only makes a lot of you look like idiots. He's gone, not on this server anymore, move on with your lives people.

I mean for fucks sake, Miros, being a part of a minority group under a type of persecution, you really like to hold your torch up high at this point. Y'all wanting to follow this jerk around and give him shit can be likened to following around an ex-con that slighted you every where he goes and not giving the guy a chance to move on and maybe, just maybe, reform and redeem himself. I personally dont like the guy, but you people's attitude scares me, to think y'all are my age (or similar) and one day be helping lead society. Exactly, if a shell cares enough to check into him, they will come here and ask. As I recall, I remember seeing a few threads about other server-jumpers here already.
 
I'm not fucking saying stalk the guy. But leaving a message on BG about what happened wouldn't be more than a minute or two and it wouldn't hurt anyone. No one is like hulking him down or anything, sheesh. I would like a warning if some douche moved to Quetz and wanted to join my linkshell.

You shouldn't just get to fuck up and then wipe the slate clean and start someplace else so you can fuck up the game for some more unassuming people.

To someone outside the argument, it does seem like some of the posters would like to stalk him JP. I agree with you on the last part of your post, hence why Dowzer brought up background checks and whatnot. In that case, feel free to post his stupid shit, my problem is with people wanting to track down what server he went to and give him shit there too.

For starters, my response wasn't aimed at you, I just took your quote as an example as to how it did affect me at one point. You're right, nothing wrong with giving a shit, but once someone leaves this server, wtf should any of us care? If someone comes here and asks, then by all means go ahead and let said person know what kind of douche Shaj was (for he was one, no doubt about that). Like JP said, it doesnt take long to post a thread on BG saying "Hey watch out for this guy" but what's the point of it if people can easily change their name when switching servers? If he's as big of a douche as we all think he is (and he's transferred twice already from what I know) whats to stop him from having created a mule on w/e server he decided to go to named Shaj, transferring, then be forced to change his name once the transfer is complete? Some people's obsession with this is just mind boggling to me. Why? I'm all about fairness, and watching out for my fellow man and such, but there is such a thing as taking too far also.

Brilliant point there at the end. We're going to follow this guy around and make his life a living hell. Great deduction there Sherlock Hexx. We wont follow him it's as simple as going over to BG and posting the accounts of what happened so people know to avoid this moron.
 
This isn't the first time he's been made a fool.

At BG they know him for being a huge idiot because of King Vinegarroon drama. Aeil wanted the helm and threw a fit about not being eligible to cast lots. Keep in mind, at the time he was a co leader and held all their sky pops and 3m in currency.

When Shaj said he couldn't lot and Aeil threw his big fit, Shaj kicked him from the LS. After kicking him, and get this, he expected Aeil to return the currency and pop items. That makes Shaj pretty stupid.

That's why I brought up the background checks. Now he has reference at QCDN and BG. At QCDN we know him for sniping zones. That makes Shaj quite the asshole.



Combine the two and you get one stupid asshole.

I think his tracks are covered if he applies to any notable shell or anyone recruiting has half a brain to do a back ground check.

He shouted he was quitting and assumed the thread would be locked, but I guess since Uptempo mentioned he's not really quitting. Well then, hahhh...thread's open.
