Same. SE is ignorant as hell for not making a windowed mode.. Without windower the game is not worth the time. If they don't fix this I'll be lookin online for a new game.

The fact that they know this to be an empty threat is what gives them the confidence to keep things so frustrating. It's really difficult to replace an MMORPG that you've gotten attatched to. They know there's a good chance that you'll be back, even if you make a cursory effort to cancel.

I'll play without Windower for now, but I think my playtime is gonna drop sharply until it gets fixed.

ditto. And i'll be ANGRY while playing. But if the fix doesnt come, its possible i'll be gone. Treasures or no.
 
Seems like they went medieval on Archbell's website too because that's completely down too. HELP MEEEEEE!
 
I might contemplate a PS2 version as a last resort if it doesn't get fixed.

Kinda makes me kick myself now for putting my paper off until after update was done... Oh well... :banghead3:

It's not empty.. I find XI boring and monotonous right now.. it's all the same over and over since I am at a bad spot.. LFP is retarded and I'm sick of farming.. I can do this WHILE doing 3-4 other things.. I am way too high maintenance for one thing at a time..I on average talk to 4-6 people on MSN, 2 on Yahoo, while browsing here or alla and playing XI >.> Without windower I'd buy a PS2 and go back to old games I enjoyed that take a long time to finish. ;p I love the XI community, just the BS systems of "you MUST group" sucks.
 
Well.. I figured this board would have the answers...

However... I still have not pre-ordered the expansion.. mhahahahahah!
 
You guys act like this is the only time in the history of mankind that windower didn't work. I give them a week tops after the actual expansion comes out (no sense fixing it now to have it broken again) to have it up and running again.

And if you're referring to SAM, most party leaders are melee DDs for a reason...

I'm too new to have seen this before, as I said though, "if" its not fixed..

And Tag, I mean as any lower job... Blm, Sam.. I've gone hours lfp, and I looked? Nothing ptable was seeking... either all melee or all mage.. I just hope it works, cause unlike some jobs (drg comes to mind) soloing while waiting on Sam is impossible.
 
yes...no windower...i may be able to survive for a bit...

but my real concern is why I can't get into the game at all...

I'm glad it's not just me...I was really starting to worry about my pc...

I can't get on even when I don't load up using the windower, so it looks like I won't be able to play until they fix it. I've played without my windower every other time they've broken it, but this time they fucked up the normal game too. GG SE.

I know it goes against "normal" protocol, but look for jobs that don't have their (!) seek flag up too if you can't make a party purely out of (!) seekers. Some people really don't like getting invites without their (!), and that should always be respected, but it never hurts to offer someone a party really.

There's no way in hell I would've made it to 75 DRG without inviting non-(!) people.
