Yeah, I probably tried to register over 75 times before it actually went all the way through.

is it me or something seems a little bit fishy...
to download, you needed to input the code right?
cause... i downloaded without using the code -_-?
Is it because I downloaded from the Australia side and I just realize that no registration code needed to play here.
I wonder, will this be region locked or not for now in terms of playing... we will find out soon!

The details for the offical Metal Gear Online (MGO) Beta test have just emerged. The beta is available for download from the PlayStation Network now and will be playable from Monday the 21st of April through till Tuesday the 6th of May.

The beta is free to play with no registration code available. Two maps are featured in the beta - "Blood Bath" and "Groznyi Grad". The beta will support up to 16 players online.

So all you Metal Gear Solid 4 fans waiting for the games' release in June can experience a taste of what's coming!

Ok. So I finally got to the confirmation page after putting in all my info and clicked on confirm, only to have it time out on me. Then when i tried again to register, it tells me my username is taken and my email is already in use. But when i goto the main page and try and login it says username doesnt exist... stupid fucking website.

So I redid it with a different name and email and it worked, however i miss-typed my email, put re instead of er in raider. Luckily its not registered to anyone else, but now i cant get my confirmation email and when i try to reset it i get another error. I hate konami.
 
It took me awhile to get that email. If you use firefox and noscript, try temp allowing verisign then hit the resend button. I know that I didnt get the email until after I did that.
 
We will see. This can be taken both ways very easily. We would think his expectations are through the roof anyways but he does seem to be down on PS3. Does not mean the game wont be good tho just maybe not up to his boner giving fantasy.
 
I have noscript and only allowed konami and I got it to work.
 
Huh, maybe it was just a coincidence then.
 
Let's be honest here. You could play the game on the Holo-deck, and Kojima would still feel something was missing lol.

lol ya, but that's kinda what makes his games so fun :P because he has high standards and shoots for the impossible so it makes his games awesome cause he'll keep shooting more and more XD

Had to fix the title to my thread :P

Probably.

Hideo practices what the Japanese call Kaizen. ( The persuit of limitless improvement ). Applying that approach to game development does reveal barriers. MGS4 has gotten old before it's release. Especially to the developers.
 
As long as MGS4 doesn't go "Sons of liberty" all of the place, it will be a great game.
