a server migration makes me want to come back to QC. for those new people, i moved servers because my old ls leader invited me over. so i did. however, it has since died. kinda on my own. this is what led me to leave quetz to begin with.
on QC, i wasnt active in dynamis at all. however, i do know they work somewhat religiously on the schedule. it does help keep conflicts minimal. On the same token, there are always those groups that dont visit these boards to know of the schedule. mostly JP and the new dynamis leaders. not really enough to cause drama. im sure that everyone can come to a happy medium and it will all be worked out. my opinion is that everyone is going to have to make a change. i would say that sticking with a schedule wouldnt be a bad idea, but to wipe it clean and have all groups the chance to bid for time slots fresh and clean slate. again, not sure of the amount or sizes, but some groups may want to absorb another? or run as one shell, two groups. take two different zones that different people need.
then it comes to points. hmm, thats a toughie. with just the first thing off the top of my head i would suggest keeping points (if they were used at all) what they were before the merge and alternate the bidder between qc to milg members so then its not playing favorites. just my humble opinions. do as you will
here on pandy, they dont do scheduling. which is why QC is lucky. there is MB for the server which makes way for alot of good, and some bad. IE flameboard. however, its got its ups such as AH and general discussion. on pandy, its prettty much first come first serve. sometimes there is stealing, most times not. most leaders are respectful to not hijack though. which, iim sure the transfers from milg are also. at least most of them i would image. im sure it will all work out. ill have to contemplate coming back over.
