Is Vang still on Quetz because I don't know what I'll do if he's not around to bitch at people

So monday is the day............ I'm kind of excited that it is finally happening. More people, chance to make new friends and what not. I just hope that people from midgard are not going to be as dumb as they seem after I have heard from some of their shouts in Whitegate, but I'm sure Quetz has just as many dumb people. Oh well, see you all on tuesday when I log in.
 
Retarded shouts in Whitegate, Jeuno or even the starting cities is something that happens on every server.
I won't deny that that actually adds to the entertainment value when idling at times.
 
I will not be denied my right to use "/nominate shout" during Besieged!

What I was referring too was the shouts aloing the lines of....
"All the people on Quetz are going to learn how to things our way......"
"I'm going to own all the people on Quetz....."
You know the people who shout stuff like that because they think its cool and think they are better than everyone else, kind of reminds me of a few people who have been posting on here. I'm sure when we get over to quetz that their true colors and how they really are will come through.

I also do enjoy the retard shouts in WG, they provide for some fun times every now and then.
 
Not sure if this in the right forum but Ive tried searching for the rules behind the dynamis schedual, Ive seen the schedual itself ( and to be honest it seems quite a few shells like to to north/certain cop areas more then anything)

Now I know most quetz people want us midgars to give it a chance but to be honest weither its pick a zone and if another shell is there and you random for it or a schedual a few weeks in advance, I actually see picking a zone and randoming if contested alot more fair then the schedual. I could be totally wrong as I dont see a "guide" to the schedual but It looks like and correct me if im wrong, the first to post gets their picks. which to me..... is just as bad as ignoring a offer to random and spam trading a glass, but on a month long scale. Imo picking a month long schedual just wont work anyway, every shell has the "only shows to zones they want" players so pre planning that long is kinda working against you.

Again I could be wrong and if there is a "guide" please direct me to it. Not looking forward to saturdays with more shells then zones trying to get a spot.

It's not really a first come first serve. We understand that QCDN isn't the end all rules to Dynamis, but what we do is just try to make it easier on linkshells who plan their events.

Normally a linkshell has the whole month planned out so their members know where to go. All they do is post it on the site and we put it on our master list. If it conflicts, we put a notification next to it. All we have is a basic schedule of where people are planning to go. Dynamis can create major drama because of the size of the people that go in so we try to help avoid certain things. If there is a conflict, the leaders of the shells usually talk and work something out. It's just as simple as that. :) It's more of a convenience then a first come first serve scenario.
 
Well i am glad to see everyone is getting along and hope to see you all bright and early in the morning after the 12-who knows how long hr maintance. Really i will see you after i wake up next day :) happy hunting and lets kill things together
 
Its more like Tuesday I guess since the update runs so late on Monday. I have school Tues so I suppose I will miss the "chaos" <_<
 
Considering how long it takes to actually get the update done, I'm guessing most of us won't even be able to get on until Thursday, haha..
 
Well, hopefully it won't be too bad. I always manage to get the patch early, but I'm prolly gonna be playing Lunar all day once the maint hits. maybe I'll finally beat it. (I got a PS1 up here and I might ask 'Neko if I could borrow another game in case.)
 
what's a good casual linkshell to join on quetz? And for casual, I mean, not noob, but not calling you on your cell phone at 3am for a sandworm. somewhere in between ^^

He's not joking, I know a few linkshells require this. I've even heard stories of people getting kicked for not waking up when called.
 
Zagam dynamis scheduling is a benefit to the whole server and the schedules are made and edited by the dynamis shells leader or co-leader. this is done and is actually quite reasonable and smart since more then likely the leader will know and be able to gauge what his or her shell can complete and if there is a conflict the leaders have a discussion and try to make decision on who gets the zone.

They are pretty rare though.
Most servers usually have only one such linkshell and joining one is always a choice you make.

I'm sure if you look around there will be a few that might interest you.
But it's always nice to inquire what a shell expects from you before you apply to them.
