Monk. Bandwagon Job of 2006

Monetary value is very important. If you can farm gil easier than you could claim the HNMs let alone having the ability to kill them, then buying is the easier choice which some people have done and is common practice. About the KS fights, most LS do multiple runs if they plan on doing them at all so I am sure a MNK would be allowed to lot if they dropped. You personally don't need 1000 seals, you just need one orb (99 seals) and a group of friends willing to do them. KS99 fights are a lot easier (not difficulty wise, but claiming, effort and organizing) and sometimes people are more willing to do this simply because you have no competition. No camping, just need to succeed. Like Decidence said, if you really wanted them, you could get them and there is a lot of options open to you, but the same can't be applied to a Ridill. A ridill only comes from one place, heavily camped by major HNM LS and the drop rate is terrible.

Edit: I don't think you can remove .dat files anymore. I am told if you do that and then zone into Dragon's Aery, FF will crash. Not to mention having agro doesn't effect relative difficulty to claim. If everyone else has the same difficulty claiming, then it's not harder, just more dangerous.

I wonder what would happen if the fly models were switched with chigoe's...lol

You guys are also forgeting one thing. Behemoth, Aspid and Fafnir are being camped by a lot of shells that are useing hacks. Getting a B.B is easyer said than done, not saying obtaining a Redil is no easy task.
