Aye, hence why people with a full e-peen can easily bump someone up a full inch, and why red dotters have no effect at all on rate ups/downs.
 
1 year, 1000 posts, or 100 rep = 1 point. So say I've been here for 2 years @ 12k posts and 1000 rep - my rep up/down power would be 24 (2 for 2 years, 12 for 12k posts, 10 for 1k rep). Unless you're an admin, then you're 30 points by default.
 
Yeah, your rate-ups are about 1/100th of your current reputation.
 
According to cmdr you apparently get one default point too just for existing as my calculation was off by one the first time I tried it.

Teppo has posted something useful at least once. I don't know where or when. But he has to have...
 
I was talking more about the fact that he asked for rate ups and ended up getting more rate downs for being an idiot.

In retrospect this is stupid, just close the topic and don't worry about it.
 
I just wanted to annouce I joined the 11th dot club. We need more now. I still have lots of catching up to do though. According to the calculations, I only give like 25 rep points ; ; I want to disperse more.
 
So I can't help but notice that reputation is still broken. People are able to hide their reputation. ETA on fix?
 
I don't think the hiding will be fixed. I believe it was built in for those who don't want to "participate" or in other words, people who get rated down a lot.

Oh well. It's a fairly easy task to have Firefox replace the black dot with a red one, I suppose.

We know who they are though. It takes a lot for me to rate someone down, but when I do, I remember why for a long time. Like someone said earlier, black is the new red.
