morrigan's robe on quetz.

Just to nitpick, the pair of quotes about refresh would more accurately get categorized as "self-contradiction".

Let's have a few quotes ...

And bolded for emphasis:

That wasn't in response to me, but I did find it ironic all things considered.

You're right, though, he did get one very obvious thing quite wrong, and that stuck in my mind (and apparently in the minds of others) leading me to take some of his other words with a fair bit of salt. For all I know (I don't exactly stalk his posts) he's been wrong about other stuff too. Or perhaps he hasn't. The example I gave is the one I remember - whether it's 1 out of 1 things he's been wrong about or 1 out of 100 things he's been wrong about, no clue and I'll admit that quite upfront. Such is the nature of an example, it doesn't indicate a relative frequency.

Throw in his lack of reading comprehension (understandable or not, it *is* still present and complicates discussing things with him) and his reactive attitude to empty jibes that any sensible person would ignore (see most Skaw one-liners). I *think* (could be remembering wrong) that he's also not too keen on considering the viewpoint from the opposing side of the argument, but such a lack of objectivity is *hardly* unique to him (it's present in the vast majority of internet arguments after all). :P

I don't think he's a moron and as I said before and apparently need to say again, I don't think he bought his account and I don't think he's RMT. I do, however, think that he's not the easiest person in the world to have a discussion/argument/debate with for a variety of factors, many of which I've explained above. (EDIT: I still don't have a beef with him and am quite willing to listen to his arguments, I'm just pointing out that it's a bit more difficult to discuss things with him than with others.) And while I won't write off everything someone says just because they had a blatant error in the past, I'm sure as hell not going to take *other* things they say at face value. Doesn't mean that I assume they're wrong, just means I don't assume they're right, and therefore I want backup information.
Most of the thigns I said wasn't in response to you at all. I quoted your post because you responded with how you think other people think, and why I find it wrong. It wasn't an actually response to you, but your explaining why people think how they do. Although I suppose that could be seen as a direct response to you.

Well, it depends. They're taken out of context. So as they are alone, thy're not neccesarily slef-contradicting, since that requires him to have actually stated he never misses refreshes, which wasn't present in the quote.

BLM? maybe

I've just skimmed across this post and noticed everyone giving the benefits for BLU and RDM but my question is, does this beat the Weskit for BLM? 1 less Magic Atk Bonus, no conserve MP, and no Elemental Magic skill. On the other hand +8 INT and refresh effect. Hmmmm it's border-line but just seems to me like weskit may have it beat for BLM. Any thoughts?

P.S.- Would be great for farming and skilling up on BLM

You clearly are blind Uzor.

The last two quotes easily discredit him for he says one thing, then contradicts it later saying he's never done it. Hey thats what contradiction means.

Of course they are taken out of context that is what a god damn quote is. Do you want me to post his entire post, which changes nothing of the context of his quote, to make it more clear? He says he is sorry for missing refresh in one post, then later says he has never met Jamal.

And honestly who the hell cares that you want facts Uzor? Are you the leader of this tribunal? Even if the majority of the quotes are opinions, it doesn't change anything because they are idiotic. Which goes hand and hand with someone clearly not knowledgeable of this game that has been out for five years.

But we all know you just like to argue for fun so I await the next ass talking backwards post from you.

Have the version with the little linky thing so they can be seen in context then. (And then I'm off to lunch too.)

I am the n+1 rdm that didn't refresh you , and i feel very sorry that. But i congratutlate you on your memory ^^

As for resting, everyone rest in full yigit gear nowadys.

Someone explains me the reason why i bought my account LOL. I didn't see any evidence so far ... Except this PLD that i dont know (is he famous on quetz ? ) that claims that i didnt refresh him.

The fact that someone doesn't have the same opinion as you doesn't mean it's a rmt.

Context is the same. First quote asserts that pchan failed to refresh Jamal on some occasion (this would be a true or false factual statement). Second quote denies knowing Jamal and says his comment about a missed refresh is merely a claim (which implies that it never happened, and contradicts the first quote).

So yes, that would a fairly obvious case of what is called a contradiction. And now, to lunch.

Damage wise Morrigans probably is better, but Conserve MP and Elemental Skill are nice from Weskit. However, if one were to complete the Morrigan set then it would trump the Weskit in every way possible.

Reason I ask is because the only thing everyone ever mention is evasion skill ups. I haven't seen anyone else mention anything else ever.

And I have personal experience playing with him too, and he's far from the worst.

And I have experience with Pchan every goddamn Sunday and it's almost enough to make me want to quit a goddamn linkshell. Are you sure we're on the same person here?

Also, I should add that Uzor is the one RESPONSIBLE for me needing to deal with Pchan and two other people (I believe) in said linkshell, I can almost barely take continuing to come.

Just a little followup, although preceeding posts have covered quite a bit.

Facts are great, but in most debate situations, you can't find conclusive proof, so you find as close as you can to factual statements.

Someone stating an opposing view that isn't factual does not make it "Not wrong" merely because its not a fact. That is what a court of public opinion is for, to sort out opinions and give a general basis to foundation arguments on.

For example, I can say WHMs are better DD's then WARs, and I can even have something to back up my statement. Factually, I'm not wrong. My opinion is obsurd, which is what I was claiming Pgimps statements were. You asked for facts Uzor, I don't need to present facts, because its plain as daylight that pchan is missing some huge concepts that are learned throughout ones progression throughout the game. This is what Crosis's quotes pointed out, and also marked an inconcsistency which you said was "Taken out of context".
Both replies followed me calling pchan out for the same event, so no, they are NOT out of context.

Correction, he said that he didn't KNOW him. That doesn't deny the fact that he partied with him. I don't know everyone I party with. I've just simply partied with them. If I knew everyone I partied with, I'd know the entire server.

Actually, you have Kalendor to thank for that. He asked if I knew any BLMes or RDMes, and I said I know Pchan and Mdk. If you dislike him so much, I'm sure you could have just told Kalendor that before inviting them to the shell.

We did Limbus together for 2-3 months...if he doesn't know me then he's just as god-damn stupid as I've been saying. Christ give it up.

If I knew? Oh god yes, I would have. Ohgodohgodohgod I would have. It's one of those things where, if I could go back in time and say that to my slightly younger self, it's definitely a message of that importance. But since I lack time travel... I'm out of luck. Sorry. But yes, people you've brought into the shell are the reason I'm clawing my eyes out, and I'm not the only one. gj there champ, shows the kinda people you hang around with and the level you're apparently on.

But you said he was wrong about everything. Naturally, you must have meant one thing, unless you want to talk about opinions.

You can think that some of his opinions are stupid and wrong, but that doesn't mean they are. They are that from your point of view. Meaning that's, once again, only tour opinion. Your "WHM better DD then WAR" is a rather bad comparison, since he haven't said anything of the sort. He said that Chausuble is a good piece to nuke, aspir and drain in. That's his point of view, and he's talking from a resistance standing point. Since it is generally accepted, according to Wiki and elsewhere, that INT does not affect resist rates, Chausuble would be better to nuke, aspir and drain in, since it would give lower resist rates.

How is that "clearly wrong and moronic"? From a pure resistance perspective, his opinion is right. Since INT and MND's effect on resistance is heavily debated, you can't say he's a moron for using Chausuble for nukes, drain and aspir. Hence, you've once again shown what a moron you are.

Oh? What shell is that? 'cause I can't recall ever doing Limbus with you. Which means one of 2 things if I were. You didn't stick out. Which can be both good and bad.

Why thank you. I'm right in there with the hackers and botters apparently.

...they hack? I was going for morons, but if they hack, that's... well, even worse.
No, they don't hack. I was talking about OuterHeaven.

Yeah... How are those nashira pants working out for you, by the way?
They're great, thank you. Go right along with my Crimson Cuisses and Kirin's Osode. for my lvl 69 NIN.

I quit because I couldn't take the ripping my eyes out everytime I partied with Pchan. I also took off the linkshell while doing events so I could vent about him, and ended up tossing it just because he sucked so horribly and I didn't have a say in membership.

Still haven't mentioned which shell it was. I could say I was in a shell with you and dropped it because you were so horrible. Doesn't mean people would believe me.
