It wasn't Ultima, it was Omega. It was a quite fun discussion atm.

And yes, we totally hacked Ultima. It is very easy to kite a mob with Draw-In. We also used hacks to constantly keep our MP and HP full with Invincible.exe. I especially liked the chainspell.exe hack that reset all of our job ability and magics recast time at 0 with instant cast.

I expected a better rebuttal than that, that's just using a loophole in the phrasing and doesn't really address the point.

The second quote could effectively mean one of two *general* things:

1. A straightforward reply *on the subject*, with not perhaps the most perfectly accurate choice of wording.

2. A misleading reply *on another subject*, with carefully chosen wording to lend itself to an implication that is not what it technically says.

Personally I'm leaning towards #1. Pchan's posts, on the whole, tend to be straightforward. I don't really see him carefully wording something to try to trick people who don't follow his wording absolutely exactly.

I'll be honest, I was wrong there. She wasn't my girlfriend by any means, but I trusted what she told me. That was my mistake, but has NOTHING to do with the situation at hand. Like I mentioned earlier in this thread though, if someone isn't up to par, I will let them know. I sure did to her.

Like Jamal said, it was a "personal attack". Well, it wasn't really a personal attack. It was just me demanding proof for what he said. Whether I know which shell he was in or not, doesn't change the fact that you should provide proof with your claims. My point was, if he doesn't want to provide proof, someone could come and make wild accusations without any proof at all, and say its the truth. The proof burden always lies with the accuser, not with the accused.

The only time this is not true, is when you want to return bought objects. X months after you've bought it, the burden that it was in fact a faulty item, lies with the customer. Before that, the the burden lies on the store to prove that it was not a faulty item.

You only need to prove something to someone if they don't know or believe what you have said. I believe you already knew he was in the shell making it pointless for him to prove it.
