Deidara is the best character in Naruto :D he's smexy, he's funny, he's artful, he's strong :P he's the best! hehe
 
The thing is, it's not trained against the Sharingan as a whole, just any eye-based genjutsu that specifically uses it.

This is the turning point, where Sasuke will finally kick it up to Mangekyou. Because Itachi didn't use it when he trapped Deidara in his genjutsu, he hasn't trained his eye to combat MS Doujutsu. It's the flaw in Deidara's trump card. And it's a fatal one.

Yes, it looks like Deidara is mounting a major comeback. But in reality, he's pretty fucked.

Also, DB (the only fansub activelly working on shippuuden) has made a pretty bold warning, threatening to drop naruto permanently if people don't download Pokemon more.

Obviously if this happens there'll be no more english subs for the series for a while, which will suck.

Think they'll go through with it?
 
I think it's a joke, just like the last few times they threatened to hold back on naruto releases until enough people downloaded pokemon. It'd be stupid to stop doing an insanely popular series in favor of an unpopular one.

DB regularly does this when theres a break up in the airings. It's to rile up those that don't realize that the next episode is not going to/didn't air.

Deidara and Sasuke are both gravely injured.

We aren't sure how much Sasuke is, but having impaled himself with his own Chidori I can assume it's no small cut.

Wehther or not Deidara wins, this is the best fight in the series in a while, and it helps out the Sasuke line alot, once again placing him quite a far way away from Itachi, if he can just barely keep up with Deidara.
 
Hmmm... it's tough to say at this point, honestly, I could see Deidara going "tch, I quit" and walk away telling Sasuke to kill Itachi for him. I mean, Deidara didn't even really care to be in Akatsuki from the start :P I'm just hoping Deidara lives some how.. he's become so famous so many Kishi will let him live some how :P

And ya, Sasuke's gonna have a bitch of a time if he can't fight Deidara alone. Then again, Deidara is stronger than people give him credit and Itachi fought Deidara when Deidara was younger/weaker.. he could be stronger now.. strong enough to be a match for Deidara (specially since Itachi doesn't use Lightning attacks). Lightning is the only thing really giving Sasuke the edge here. I wonder when Tobi will come out and do something.. he's been so inactive XD and where's Sakura? She's supposed to be near by... you'd think she'd have heard the ruckus.. and then there's Naruto and whatnot.. why are they so outta the picture.. god damn Kishi and his Sasuke fanboyism.

Naruto has no bad-guy-turned-good. Except maybe Sai, but he wasn't -that- bad. I kinda hope Deidara ends up good, or an anti-hero of some kind, but either way, I doubt Sasuke would let him live.
 
361 is out. That should explain some things. Yea I think Sasuke might end Deidara's life there but then again Sasuke does have some of his kind moment's.
But seeing how Sasuke's face was at the end of the chapter, he'll kill off Deidara unless Tobi saves the day.
 
Sasuke hasn't killed anyone other than orochimaru yet, and that's debatable

He doesn't SEEM to want to kill anyone as earlier implied in the series, so who knows.
 
Sasuke has tried to kill naruto before so I think it's perfectly plausibe for sasuke to kill somone he doesnt even know.

I'm referring to way back when Sasuke earned himself the nickname the roach. Every week while fighting naruto in the manga sasuke was being setup for the biggest asswhopping of all time and and it was perfectly reasonable for him to be scraped up from the wall with his overpowered sharringan eyeballs ripped out as an emergency set of eyeballs for kakashi. Sasuke would then get a super saiyain 1,2,3,4,ect upgrade and by the end of the next chapter be setup for a bigger whooping by naruto. Sasuke is like a cockroach. He just wont fucking die!

Oh and if you read those chaptes again you'll see the part where sasuke tried to stab Naruto through the heart and naruto managed to aviod it enough to get a different fatal wound that didnt result in instant death.
 
Sasuke didn't bust out the Magenkyou. Good strategy though.

Earth is weak to lightning? That's just stupid.
 
A lot of things in Narutoverse is quite stupid :P like introducing characters that seem to be very important and then just disappear quickly with no real closure to their involvement in the story or no back-story for said seeming important characters.. or the fact this is supposed to be a world without technology like ours yet they have headsets and whatnot >.>

And I could see Sasuke letting Deidara live. He doesn't really care to kill anyone (as mentioned before) other than Itachi and if the enemy were to go "tch, I quit" and walk off I doubt he'd care to try and kill him. Prolly would just want info where Itachi is, which, if it were to happen, I could see Deidara giving what he does know (vaguely) in return for whatever reason *shrugs*

I really just don't want Deidara to die T.T and it'd really be stupid/odd to have Tobi standing around doing NOTHING...
 
I bet Deidara is just gonna give up lol. I mean he has pretty much used up all his chakra. I wish Tobi would come and attack Sasuke now that he's down.
