I hope Konohamaru dies, I hate him! :|
 
If Konohamaru dies then there goes the spin-off.

I don't think Kishi is tryin' to kill off the whole family line but things are gettin' a bit akward to fast.

To be honest, I don't know how I feel about a Naruto world without Kakashi. Asuma hit me hard, not in a cryin' type way, but as in a "I feel a change commin'" type way. I don't like the feelin' of the story as of late but I hope something good happens soon. There isn't really anything wrong with the story and direction but it's more so the speed of it all.

No kidding..it got good there for awhile, but with the whole Kakashi thing just happening really quickly..i mean they didn't even give him a whole manga, and they kept cutting to other scenes. It would cut back to him all bloodied then move on. If he's dead, then I won't care what happens from here on out.
 
I don't think he's dead, at least not just yet. I think he's just going through a near death vision. He'll probably experience something in this vision he's having and hopefully wake up to finish the fight. I really hope so anyway. He definitely doesn't deserve to die so soon.
 
Yeah - I mean, he didn't do really anything in this fight against Pain, and look at how much he did while fighting Hidan & Kakuzu... he'll have more of a role in this fight, and return to save the day.
 
I will say it once more! Kakashi's dad is going to say something like "Well son.. Your life was eventful, but you still have much to experience. Your place isn't here." or something, and he'll wake up either..

a.) Wake up in a hospital bed
b.) Wake up in time to save someone.
c.) Was fake dead the whole time!

I move towards choice A.

Konohamaru begins fighting pain, some stupid emotional hokage dialog bullshit goes on.

tsunade's slugs finally reach everyone, but kakashi "appears to be dead" tsunade punches a hole in a wall when hearing this

apparently the aburame clan is fighting one of pain's bodies as well

naruto tries to gather nature energy while moving, but he can't do it yet. fukasaku says something that makes naruto have one of those "light bulb in the head" moments

and finally, the original body pain shows up right next to tsunade, she is shocked to see him and says something like "well, it's been a long time, yahiko" or something ridiculous like that

If Naruto uses a 4th clone to bring in Nature energy, I'm done. :glare: his shadow clones should only get him so far. The Kakashi thing is depressing and now with tsunade. Kishi can't possibly just kill off half the characters, can he?
 
I always though Tsunade would eventually die...the other two have, or pretty much. Still hanging for Kakashi. I don't mind if he dies..i think it's good writing when great characters die because it accomplishes what the Author wants...emotions. I just think it should be done with tact.

When Naruto and the toad are training, the toad tells him that trying to gather Natural Energy while moving is like 'trying to look left and right at the same time' which of course makes the light go off in Naruto's head. God damn Kishi, give him something else already. I'm so fucking tired of Kage Bunshin and Rasengan, over and over and over.

In other news, the end of the chapter makes me think Tsunade is about to kick it.
 
I can't help but think that either the 8 Tails will happen to show up soon, or all the other Kage will for their summit(Makes sense since Konoha is pretty much the central location on the continent.) The latter would be fucking badass.

Also, I'm going to make a distant future prediction: The ultimate fight of Naruto vs. Madara, Naruto will have learned his father's near-teleportation technique somehow to combat Madara's Sharingan.

Filler time again...

Well it seems before the new Sasuke arc, the anime is going for ANOTHER filler arc, this time though, its more of an addition to the manga story it seems with Naruto trying to get the Three Tails ¬_¬

This is getting kinda out of hand now.

This is classic Naruto, right here. Shino and his clan fighting one group, Kiba and his mom fighting another. Gai and Rock Lee are gonna show up soon, and even Tsunade will be fighting.
 
So many things could happen. Tsunade will die. Tsunade might actually show whys she's part of the legendary 3 and put a dent in that fuckers head because Kakashi might actually be dead. Kakashi could still be alive and show up to help Tsunade. Gai could help and find kakashi dead/alive. So many different ways you could go.
 
but the legendary 3 weren't really that great, remember? :P or something like they were made to be thought of as great by the rain country dood they fought and failed hard too and such, at least that's what I remember.

From what i've seen...they were pretty badass. Orochamiru was pretty badass till the 3rd pulled off an unbelieveable type attack to paralyze him. Jirayai was awesome and just happened to go against the 2nd most powerful villian in the series whom he had absolutely 0 knowledge on.

If it wasn't for the constant sharringan buttfucking i'd have thought pein was the strongest personally. If pein had had some foresight and grabb a sharringan user's dead body(eg itachi) then madara wouldn't have a chance imo.

At least it isn't a bunch of 1-2 episode long filler arcs full of shitty story. Plus, intertwining canon and filler together is a nice way to slow the pace down, yet keep things interesting.

And managed to wipe out one of Pains controlled bodies in the process, totally under prepared. And let's not forget. Tsunade is likely the strongest one of them all, due to her regenerative technique and chakra reinforced super strength. Orochimaru just had a vast array of techniques. Jiraiya was the clever one.

And just proof of their strength, Orochimaru did defeat Sarutobi - who was probably the overall strongest Hokage, if not among all Kage. The exception being Madara of course. He had to be pretty high up there at least, if coming out of retirement when Minato died was the best option Konoha had. We're talking about a guy who was hailed as the second best Ninja available to take up the Hokage title after the Kyuubi incident.

And really, the way I see it, age was the reason he lost.

The same goes for Orochimaru. If it wasn't for his desire to stay forever young and his bodies rejecting his soul, he would've mopped the floor with Sasuke.

Jiraiya wasn't outclassed or had a handicap because of his age. He was simply outnumbered.

Transitionally, Tsunade has to die. From any storywriter's point of view, she must.

Orochimaru -> Sasuke
Jiraiya -> Naruto
Tsunade -> Sakura
