I'm still a little skeptical on this, after all, unless Kishimoto is involved in this filler somehow, it could end up really piss poor if they don't do it justice. Plus, this seems like something that should've happened in the actual manga but got retconned due to time constraints.

Don't get me wrong though its nice to see Hinata, Kiba and... I'm sorry what's his name again...

Well, it's nice to see them getting a little more screentime seeing as they are gonna do a whole bunch of nothing when they actually start looking for Sasuke as he fights Deidara. T_T

However, like I said, I'm skeptical about this. It could go either way but really, haven't we had enough fillers by now? Unless Kishimoto is physically ill like Yoshihiro Togashi (YuYu Hakusho, HunterxHunter) or Katsura Hoshino (D.Gray Man) who can get physically sick for MONTHS and have to completely put on hiatus their manga so much that they have to cancel the anime for the time being (D.Gray Man) or release them as OVAs (HunterxHunter.)
 
No denying Tsunade has to kick the bucket, but Elemmire was saying that the Sannin weren't all the great because they didn't defeat the guy that gave them that title. When in actuality the two that have died didn't exactly lose to a fair fight. Unless you consider someone on their death bead in a decrepit body losing to a young upstart a fair fight.

But anyway, the last filler arc wasn't so bad, and really gave more detail on 12 Ninja Guardian. Which was something else Kishimoto just threw out there and never really went in to.

Good point. That was a fairly good filler which could've actually been good material for the manga.

Ok, I'll be less skeptical for this filler.

but ya, the guy they lost to who gave them the title Sannin was taking all three of them on BY HIMSELF if I remember correctly XD

If I recall, the guy was fairly old to begin with. So depending on when Pain killed him, it might not have been at the same level as when he fought the Sannin. Remember, they met the kids towards the end of the second war. And they fought Hanzo during it.

In a fair fight, and any knowledge of the enemy they're facing, I think the Legendary 3 are almost tops in the Naruto universe in terms of ability. 4th might be the strongest ever, but never lived long enough to show his full potential. The 3rd clearly was the best, most successful Hokage, and possibly the strongest. He was a pure genius....and very old.

Like Skaw said, they lost in unfair fights really. Tsunade still doesn't know enough about Pein (who is ridiculous, which is why i think he's a terrible villan). I agree she has to die, but if she does, im sure she will take a body with her.

I'd actually put money on Tsunade taking several bodies with her. Being a medical ninja, not to mention the best one in existence, I'm going to guess she's going to use her chakra control in some kind of effort in to overloading the receptors on the bodies. None of them are Pain to begin with, they're just all controlled by him.
 
Plus, the fact she's been idle for so long while her counterparts have been doing a lot. I think she's about to get her dues. She's Hokage for a reason.

konohamaru gets fucked up and pain starts extracting his soul, there's some emotional bullshit hokage moment and he beats the pain body with rasengan

elsewhere tsunade realizes that pain is yahiko and they start talking about wars and kages and stuff and then begin fighting

shizune is talking to the code deciphering group about pain, when a pain body appears and captures shizune

he reads her mind to find out where naruto is, this ends the chapter

What? The only people who know how to do Rasengan were either dead, always in the hospital, or always out of town.. How would he have learned it? Not to mention it's something that would have taken anyone but Naruto years to get down. If it happened during the time skip, I'm very skeptical Kakashi started to teach Konohamaru Rasengan while he was still 10ish. Nevermind the fact that he managed to finish by the time he turned 12. Remember, Jiraiya got bitched out for teaching it to Naruto when he was 12. If he did, that means Konohamaru is the strongest non-broken Ninja in Konoha.

That seems like one kick ass chapter. However... when did Tsunade meet Yahiko?! It was an interesting twist and it's intrigued me. Konohamaru using Rasengan I must admit was expected.

I just hope that Naruto can finish training when the Pain bodies find out where he is.

When Jiraiya met them. Tsunade and Orochimaru were there. Jiraiya just stayed to train them a little bit so they can survive.

wtf... if the Konohamaru thign is real, that's stupid. He can't possibly have learnt that by himself... And, as Skaw said, IF he knows Rasengan, he's the strongest and most skilled ninja ever, and would likely take the spot of Hokage over Naruto <.<;
