next chapter is called "the end of an artist" and deidara more or less just got blown to smitherenes at the end of this one so yeah.

deidara was, is, and will forever be, fucked.

what of tobi? who knows, he might have gotten away.
 
Sasuke's way to fast to let that blow him up. But Deidara is definetly dead or severely injured. Next time gonna see Tobi vs Sasuke. I think Kabuto/Orochimaru is really powerful. Hes easily taking on Naruto and whats his name.
 
I'm still hoping Deidara doesn't die :\ I mean.. "Death of Gaara" he didn't really die :P who knows.. maybe Tobi will WTF PWN save Deidara...

I don't want my Deida-Sempai to die! :( SAVE HIM TOBI!

He hopefully did. I hate people translating his grunt as an actual word. They don't tack on "-ttebayo" to whatever it was used to end when Naruto does it, quit doing it with Deidara.

Do you think Sasuke would oWn Shikanmaru in a heartbeat or it would take longer? I don't think Shikamaru stands a chance against Sasuke so Shika winning is not an option. D=

ps. I respect Shikamaru more after the guy/head he buried in his lolbackyard.

I think he were more refering to their intelligence (read: strategy and chess), and not their actually strength. Sasuke would own Shikimaru in a 1 vs 1 ninja fight, but Shikimaru would own Sasuke in chess and strategy.

Well, tbh, we can't know if Sasuke would own Shikimaru. Althoughg I'm not sure Sasuke would "own" him. He did "kill" the invincible guy all by himself, after all. Either way, my money would be on Sasuke.
 
Yea, Shiki is more intelligent and that boosts his strength and after his fight with Hidan it clearly shows he can take on the more powerful ones. I was looking for a prediction on how a Sasuke vs Shikamaru fight would go. Sasuke could've oWned Shikamaru in pre-school, but now it could be a different story.

I still think Sasuke would pWn him. =P
 
Shikamaru would be smart enough to use Sasuke's strengths and weaknesses against him.
 
Shikamaru is smart enough to deal with it :P Sharingan might be overpowered but it can be dealt with.
 
Yeah Sasuke isn't as good with Genjutsu like Itachi is, since Itachi can get you with just with a flick of his finger. So all Shikamaru would have to do is not look into his eyes and there goes that.

As soon as Shikamaru closes hi eyes he's done for, Sasuke is faster now! Plus he can't use his shadow hold/choke if he's not looking. I really think grown-up Sasuke has an evolved sharingan that he might be saving to wow his brother next time they meet.

ps. Sasuke is really good with shurikens too.
 
Shikamaru doesn't need sight to beat an enemy. He uses ALL his senses.
 
Never said close his eyes but how Gai said, just look at their feet. And Sasukes always been fast, so I'm sure Shikamaru would already of thought about that :).
 
Hold up a mirror in front of sasuke when he tries to turn shikamaru into stone to make it backfire!
Reflections kinda stop the sharingan so shikamaru could just setup some kind of hall of mirrors style arena o technically fight around a shitload of water while it's raining to use the reflections to keep track of sasuke.
