Are you blind? He turned it off half-way through the chapter. Hell, they even made mention of it in case you never noticed for the last half.

This is getting painful. Who the fuck said it was never used? Also, as was pointed out, the sharingan wouldn't do shit to stop the explosion. The sharingan isn't some kind of god button, hell even Sasuke explains a way to get around it. Just... stop already.

Well.. Kakashi's Sharingan sent Deidara's fake self (that was exploding) into another dimension.. there's very much a "god button" effect to the Sharingan :P but I doubt Sasuke or Itachi can do that as they all have developed their Sharingan differently

Well, ofcourse he's not dead. Naruto hasn't done his friendship speech and brought him back to Konoha yet.
 
I'd be happy if he did die and that didn't happen. At least that'd be something unexpected and out of the norm of a shounen manga. For those that think Hinata will be with Naruto don't seem to realize that shounen always has main hero going with main heroine :P but I think it could be really cool if Sakura were to die, Naruto in despair, Hinata brings him out, and they grow closer.. that kinda thing maybe.. that'd be outta the norm for Shounen Manga.

But ya, I'd just like to see something that isn't predictable. I have hoped Deidara would win, but it's obvious Sasuke will.. it's obvious Naruto will beat Akatsuki and not have his Bijuu extracted, it's fairly obvious Sasuke will eventually return to the village.. etc...

They also usually don't have the main heroine in love with another major character, so you're making a big assumption at this point.
 
As well as Sakura still despising Naruto. Sure, she respects him, and tolerates him. But she still hates his mannerisms.
 
So in other words.... sakura/naruto is like laura/urkel....
 
Sakura was eye-balling Naruto when he returned to Konoha. At least thats a step forward from before, when she didn't even "considered" him. But I think it's good for Naruto not being with Sakura. I mean, look at the way she declared her love for Sasuke. She was intense in that part! If she is to be with Naruto, the poor guy will be treated like a replacement for the rest of his life by her.
 
That was more of a "Wow, he's changed a lot, physically" look than a "ZOMG SUPER DEMON FOX HOTTIE <3" look.

I mean, remember. The last she saw of him, he was a shrimp. And he came back tall and lean. That's pretty drastic.

It's stated that the chick member is named Pein (sp) but pronounced "Payne".
The other guy (Leader) is not named but it is stated that he is NOT yondaime...

so I'm guessing it's part of the new chapter that is coming out.
the picture isn't clear but reader's/scanner's have said that it's not yondaime.
There still is the Tobi obito theory.
 
The leader being the Yondaime was a retarded theory and got disproved like 2 years ago when the filler first started.
 
So, the leader is a body piercing goth bastard.

Seems good to me
 
The leader better be really fucking strong.
