Yeah, I can safely say that part annoyed the hell out of me. I sat there staring at the screen going "When will they stop kicking at each other?"
Really though, the episode wasn't that bad to be honest. I really liked the segment at the end there where Sakura destroys the puppet, but I have to wonder, does it seem like they are sort of dumbing down the abilities of these "amazing fighters"? I mean crap, she falls down from poison, and Sasori just assumes she won't get back up at all and sends his puppet in. To me that's like, showing they have a complete disregard for everything they've built up a ninja to be in the series, and just showing these guys as elites so drunk with power they don't give a crap about the smaller things anymore. But then again, that's not true, because earlier Sasori was shown just tearing up Kankoru's puppets to shreds without even trying, playing defense instead of such a blatent offense.
In any case, yeah I was wondering if the little tidbit at the end with Kakashi was hinting toward him using his version of Mangekyu. I don't follow the manga, so I just know what I read that you guys type. I don't mind the spoilers, lol, I'm still curious from not reading them.
Also, to me it seems like Naruto is going to enter some badass Kyuubi mode again soon, he seems really pissed off right now.
I consistantly am wondering though, why all the time fillers? Just take off with it and give some good, juicy parts. I suppose it's like that though with any series turned really dramatic though, gotta keep you guessing. Either way it's still working, they show us just enough to come back and watch again the following week, lol.
