Sasuke's new jutsu is called Kirin. he uses metal in his sword to call down lightning caused by a Katon cloud, therefore it takes up no chakra.

it's also as fast as lightning so is unavoidable.

Kirin strikes itachi down, he appears to be dead but gets up. he survived due to some kind of resistant armor or something like that.

he announces his final attack, the third mangekyou eye technique, Susanoo

personally I doubt the susanoo part. it's like 100% fan service.
 
If ninjas can dodge Sasuke's chidori lightning then how exactly is that any faster and unavoidable?
not only that but he needs to use a sword to aim it. if you already know what's coming next then it's not that hard to avoid the god damned lightning rod. Couldn't some shuriken thrown in the air be used to divert the course technically too since lightning follows the path of least resistance?
In all honestly that move sounds like complete garbage that any idiot ninja can think up a counter too quickly. (ground yourself?)
The only time it might work is as a surprise attack while sword fighting with swords crossed ect but that would fry your own ass too.

It'll be really cool if Itachi does win because it'll be like:

WHERE IS YOUR CLICHE NOW?!

That would be sweet!

I dunno I'm kinda skeptical...isn't "Kirin" a new name for Raiku's jutsu in the filler? He called down lightning to his katana weapons as well....
 
You all know Sasuke won't die, Naruto has to have his final say so before the little Uchiha dies... It would be sweet if Naruto comes in at the last second and saves Sasuke's ass. He will never forgive him for taking his revenge from him. XD

Come to think of it, it could happen...

Yeah...that's why I'm a bit disappointed=/, that was actually a decent fight even though Raiku had those freaky jelly lips...
 
Itachi is dead, the Akatsuki coat went off.

This isn't a spoiler, but let's look at some stuff:

Sasori: took it off to fight outside of his doll. Died

Kakuzu, Hidan: Both had theirs torn off. Died

Deidara: Took his off for that crazy bomb. Died

Pein, Konan: DID NOT TAKE THEIRS OFF

Itachi just took his off. He's dead.

Can't wait to see that new eye technique...must be pretty detrimental to use it as a last resort even more than mangekyou and amaratseu.
 
I hope it kills them both, that'd be a bit more original and cool :P

I didn't notice that until you mentioned it! Good eye

It's his left though, I think that could have been the eye Sasuke trapped Orochimaru in, so he's not neccesarily alive a part of him is preserved in Sasuke and it shows through CS2...
 
thunder...he manipulated lightning...and fucked up so he should die :D
 
I thought it was pretty obvious Orochimaru is alive due to the whole Kabuto letting him in to his body and saying that "I can feel him taking over me"... How could you even doubt he was alive after that?

well it's debatable if viruses themselves are alive or whatnot, I'm not putting it past me if you look back at my "Orochi being alive" posts and guesses; I think Orochimaru is just a lump of flesh now, he leaves his mark because it's another part of Sasuke's body. I think he could still be alive, yes, but not likely imo after Itachi presenting himself and Orochimaru not 'doing' anything, even then he'd stay with Sasuke so far since he is stronger.

Orochimaru is harassing sasuke in his mind and re-emerges (kind of like Shirosaki taking over ichigo) itachi notices this and stabs him with Susanoo's sword

Seems this sword traps whoever is pierced into a genjutsu universe forever.

So orochimaru is trapped there, removed from Sasuke's body. Sasuke is back, but unconscious it seems.
