Seems this sword traps whoever is pierced into a genjutsu universe forever.

So orochimaru is trapped there, removed from Sasuke's body. Sasuke is back, but unconscious it seems.

PWNED. Please say Sasuke dies now cause seriously he has to die already.
 
So it seems Orochimaru was split between Sasuke and Kabuto. If Sasuke's half is now in the forever genjutsu universe, Kabuto's half better not come back at all. Because he will be less powerful. 1/2 power exactly...

well it's debatable if viruses themselves are alive or whatnot, I'm not putting it past me if you look back at my "Orochi being alive" posts and guesses; I think Orochimaru is just a lump of flesh now, he leaves his mark because it's another part of Sasuke's body. I think he could still be alive, yes, but not likely imo after Itachi presenting himself and Orochimaru not 'doing' anything, even then he'd stay with Sasuke so far since he is stronger.

Notice how I said "Kabuto" and not Sasuke. Kabuto took Orichimaru and put it inside his own body, I'm guessing in a similar way Orichimaru takes over other people's bodies. I didn't ean the mark he left on Sasuke. I ment after Sasuke killed him, and Kabuto shows himself to Naruto with half his body resembling Orichimaru.

Ok, I found some sauce.

Susanoo Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi are Gods from Japanese Mythology. Amateras was the goddess of the sun, Tsukoyomi was god of the Moon and Susano was Amateras' brother.

From what I've read, Susanoo behaves like a Stand from JoJo's Bizzare Adventure
 
Wasn't Susano the guy who killed the Orochi with the Ama-no-Murakumo, or took it from the Orochi after he killed it?
 
Susano took Ama-no-Murakumo from one of Orochi heads *or tails* also the sword got another name Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi and that Orochimaru sword

baja is right, in Japanese mythology Susano was the guy that killed Orochi that snake monster thing :P which makes me suspect that Orochimaru might come out again (cause the Orochimaru eye on Sasuke at the end) but Itachi's Susano will finally kill Orochimaru off and then Itachi will die by Sasugay cause that douche can't die for some reason >.>

I'm still wondering what will happen with Madara and Naruto
 
he has died yet, lol. But damn that was so obviously coming XD Orochimaru is now "dead" again :P and I do smell intervention of some sorts somewhere... god I hope Sasuke dies though.

Watch... they have Sasuke's group come and intervene, led by Suigetsu - who has mysteriously defeated Kisame, and we never get to see how.

Oh... I would be furious.
 
oh god, I would be BEYOND furious then too, but if Sasuke's group came to help him, he'd not really have achieved his goal himself so that'd be kinda "HAHAH!!" at him
 
what would be better is!

if suigetsu crawls in drenched in his own blood then kisame suddenly appears behind him and does the death blow :D and then itachi gives sasuke his death blow and gets the eyes.

OR

Madara comes and makes sasuke win...coz he doesn't want anyone to his level of super eye technique

Well, Suigetsu fought Kisame while Sasuke fought Itachi. So if we get to see Suigetsu's fight now, and he win, he could have, in reality, beat Kisame before Itachi summoned Susanoo, and come running for Sasuke's rescue.
 
It'd be kinda neat if Sasuke took Itatchi's eyes.
