Downloaded the Demo of this on PS3 about 2 days ago and I cannot stop playing it. I love the 3D fighting style they have for it. Don't get me wrong I love Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive, and Tekken, but I say this one takes the cake, I mean the Demo is amazing. I am not at all a Naruto Fan, but I cannot wait for October 15, 2008 lol

This was actually pretty impressive.
 
They need to hurry up and make with the damn Shippuuden games.
 
Yeah, I'm seriously sick of repeating the same story over and over with the Naruto games. Everyone knows what happened at this point, I know I've gone through it in 10 separate games so far. There was one PS2 Naruto game where they just made up a story for it, and I was ecstatic that I didn't have to go through the zabuza mission again. Hopefully they'll do that again with some of the next gen games.

The plot aside, the game is very fun, and captures the look of the series almost perfectly.
 
Only thing you get to do on Demo is Fight with Naruto and Kakashi, and against Naruto and Kakashi, so I have no idea how the story is going to be. It'd be new to me anyway because I haven't saw all the anime.

The story is going to be the entirety of Naruto, right before the two years of filler. They announced they were going right up to the start of shippuden, so hopefully in ultamite storm 2, they'll do the shippuden story line.

OMG Yes, please. They keep doing the same damn story, which leads right up to the best parts.
 
all of it? boo you're no fun :P there are a few good things about it. But I agree Part 2 Naruto > part 1 (in manga at least, the anime is so slow and fucks things up with shitty fillers :( )
 
It's a shame the high point of Part 1 was when Naruto owned the shit out of Kabuto when he was moving in to kill Tsunade. Naruto vs. Sasuke was way too drawn out with flashbacks. Ruined it.
 
I agree :( that made it lame... the fight between Naruto and Gaara was cool. Same with Naruto vs Neji and Gaara vs Sasuke. They were fun to watch.
 
I've been watchin' a lot of video over this game lately and noticed something about the music. It sounds like the people who did the .Hack//G.U. series music made the music for this game as well. If that's the case, W A N T.
 
Just picked up a PS3 because I had to try this game. I'm glad I did. The best damn fightin' game I've ever played, hands down, and it's just a demo. I feel bad for Guilty Gear 2: Overture now.

Heh, amazin' is puttin' it lightly. The demo is off the charts so the full release is gonna just be straight rape. Music is amazin' too, seems like I was right about the .Hack team handlin' some portions of this game. I felt kind of silly that I bought a PS3 just for this when I was downloadin' it but now I'm 100% satisfied.

The character list is also finished. Kind of disappointed in the decision to cut Zabuza and especially disappointed in no Haku. Hopefully we'll see them in some DLC.

While the free roaming arenas are a very nice evolution over the Narutimate series, they really need to move on from the Part 1 shit.
