New Jobs in End-game?

does or doesn't?

ya and if you bust on Evokers Roll or Healers Roll it doest give -Mp or -hMp lol so its really not bad at all.

it does, but only on the COR itself.

How often do you actually see COR's with MP or /heal though?

I got some MP merited and some RSE that gives 20mp so I know for a fact atleast Evokers Roll doesnt take MP away.

I don't get why people think getting a job to 75 super fast means you power level the job and have no idea how to play it. So what, are people supposed to gain just a few levels then go solo random crap they don't need, then go back to leveling so they really get a "feel" for the job? Getting over a million exp in a job will give you a feel for it.

Haha, half the Head butts I see are resisted.

Boost the hell out of Acc (physical, not magical) and this rarely happens. In the Y Jungle I was pulling head butts off 100% of the time on IT Gobs.

I don't think they're talking misses, but more the stun effect itself getting resisted.

Spells will always get interrupted as Head Butt also have a knock-back effect, but abilities won't always get interrupted as the stun doesn't always kick in.

Its not noticable at lower lvls, but at 65, it occasionally does get resisted if you fight IT mobs. I wouldn't say its anywhere near 50% though.

Busting just means you can't gain any effect from your rolls until it wears off, it doesn't actually give any known negative side effect.

Well, SE said when you bust you get a negative effect of the same strength.

Well, might be a miss-translate error. Like the "Learning Blue Magic Spells" thing:wacko:

well i've busted on Hunters Roll a few times and I have noticed that my acc goes to crap, but you can do the same roll again if you busted on it just prolly wont be as strong since I busted on it. :/

Some low lvl Cor kill a rabbit in W. ron at the very beginning then bust on Corsair roll and kill another one. I thought I remember the stats getting reduced on a bust...could be wrong though.

Still haven't heard much with the hexagun/debuff usage or w/e from COR. Whats the deal? Are they any good? What debuffs can you even do? Potency? Resists?

Well say you cast Paralyze and or Frost, then use Ice Shot seeing as those are ice based spells I have noticed it way easier to hit with more agi down and it paralyzes the crap out of them. Or another instance if a whm does Dia 2 bam Light Shot decreses their def even more so they are very usefull. And I think not positive as i'm not high enough yet I dont think Hexagun does anything for cor other then some added acc which you can see on the stats, if you got plenty of acc i'd go with a stronger gun but thats just imo, idk what the other cors have to say about it on the server yet.

In ballista the other day, dia lasted up to 10 minutes and took away 50 def with light shot used.

Ah I see, its garunteed too right? Thats kinda cool, escpecially with somthing like paralyze. Does it lower mob elemental resistance to the specific shot as well? Like ice shot lowers its ice resistance, similar to elemental ninjutsus?

Nope, just doubles the effect of the corresponding debuff. Unfortunately, doesn't work with Bard's Elegy D:

Ok now imagin Kirin > Gravity > Wind Shot

What about slow > earth shot? That would be extremely helpful on wyrms. lol I had to go 20 minutes without a single bard on Jorm last night...so just slow was a bitch..enhacing that would have been great >.>

Any idea how long the elemental shots last? Set amount of time or does it vary.

This isn't much of a question, blu and corsair have some very obvious uses endgame, in fact I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be allowed in an endgame group. I'm also sure some clever uses for them will come forth eventually.

Unfortunely, and you can bash me all you want for being one of those who say it, I honestly believe from a logical point of view pup, blu, and cor will be getting some tweaking, a lot of it even. Now, I'm not towards the degree of total nerf nuking blu, but it's obvious they will get nerfed at least a bit. I'm also pretty sure S-E will work on pup . Corsair atm seems pretty balanced.

Here's my cheer for the rumours that S-E is going to seriously destroy /thf to the point that subbing it is gimping yourself. I'm going to love the new world.

It'd make sense, it'd def help put thief up a few notches, or at least bring the other melee down a lot of notches. It'd also leave hate control to the original holders of it, thief, giving them something unique to offer the party. In addition, it'll slightly nerf blu, something that's good imo. Sure, some melee will cry about being nerfed, but honestly I think it's for the better.

All that would be left is a bit of tweaking on thf, maybe make some of their abilities dual effect like S-E changed perfect dodge. PUP needs to be reworked... a lot. And drg.. is well fine, s-e just needs to come up with a clever way for drg to be able to clearly show what they've always been, perfectly fine DD to the retarded masses that seem to plague them.

lol, /thf nerf would utterly destroy most melee's few uses at HNMs. Its bad enough we can't really melee on alot of the top HNMs or that we cant even use SA on wyrms without at least some risk of killing everyone.

Honestly nerfs are stupid, noone is happy when nerfs are given out. Always been for boosting other jobs, then people are happy and excited to some degree of the new boost their job got, instead of wanting to quit the game because their job isnt what it used to be.
