Yep, I was there for that and we crowded around one RMT called Michae something or other. He actually responded because I think someone had asked him if he was RMT and he said no in /say. Was kinda funny because all of a sudden he went AFK for a minute, and then came back and zoned back into Eldieme and was gone (obviously warp hacked)

They were coming one after the other, about 5 minutes between each. Wonder if the maintenance tomorrow will somehow prevent the warp hacking.
 
I just got off work, Selbina is quite as of 9am est. Either the GMs did some more bannings....or the RMT are avoiding me, lol.

If you make a /echo <t> macro you can get all the names of the sellers when they come in large waves, which truley helps in recording their retarded names.
 
Trackin the RMT

I've ran into my share of RMT just like everyone else has. Considering that I find it a never ending battle and don't see and end to it in the near future. Although it is comforting to know that one or two RMT can be eliminated by Vigilant actions by all the "Good" players in the game. I have a solution that may be able to eliminate more than one at a time if at all possible. That solution is nothing more than Linkshells. Since there are so many RMT that run around together forming party's for party chat is out right rediculous, they never use /say for communication either. So if there are 20+ members in a LS that are all RMT is there a way a GM could ban all members of that LS? Would make sense to me! It would be like shooting fish in a barrell. :spiteful:
 
Logged into selbina w/ my mule this afternoon, sure enough the RMT are still at it. Once again i called the GMs but got a different responce now it seems they are referring players to STFU... their new task force. If yall have time come down to selbina get afew names and report them too, we cant let SE get off easy till they fix this shit. SE has to give in if enough players complain.
 
Good job Zoner ^^)b, its an never ending battle =| but nice to hear some player is serious to confront it and tackle it successfully. Despite the issue is now handled by different team, we can still bug SE to make things better

Actually, if we all did the same thing Zoner did, we could make a difference. Even though the servers economy is largely effected by RMT, the number of legitimate players far outnumber them. Yes, they can (have, and will) keep coming back, but players can take an active role now and fight against them. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

Zoner sure as hell is right about the RMT in selbina. I just went there last night out of curiosity. There were three other ppl there harassing the RMT! The name of one of their banks is Erydh, once he logged in we all notified a GM. Sadly we had to wait almost an hour until the only GM contacted one of us. He logged out once he saw the four of us hanging around. These lil bastards are clever though, i've noticed they have a "look-out" man position in two places. Once next to the Cattle, and one at the entrance. they are the only ppl that would talk. All they would say is the number "1", not sure what they refrenced either.
While I waited for the GM i would pick a random person with a huge ass "?" over their head and /sea all areas to track their movements. A lvl 1 War with no sub miraculously went from Valkurm Dunes >> La Theine Plateau >> Pashow Marshlands?? just before disappearing completely probably took all of 3 minutes to travel to those three locations.

There was some RMT up in Boyahada tree last night leveling on Steelshells. I was there with 3 of my friends cause we were gonna skill up so we decided to take out all their mobs.

Was pretty fun, I would shout out stuff like "RMT PT Do you need It? KILL Crabs" then I got a tell from someone named "Litter" saying "cao ni ba" and some other Chinese phrases I'm sure were not very nice. But any way, was pretty fun. Some RMT there were Wuba, Nicebaby, Farkiller, and a few others. Wuba traded me 2 gil for some reason and Nicebaby gave me 3 melon pies o_O.

But back on topic I haven't noticed this warp stuff they've been doing, hope something is done about it.
