Fire, plain and simple - SE turns people off with huge level gaps.
I'd feel bad too if I had invested all of my time getting my job(s) to 75 and then SE made it easier. But I'd also see why they are doing it after this amount of time.
Sorry if I took you for being even just a little elitist.
It's hard not to when you mention "Now it takes less effort to reach 75, so you can do it easier, but it balances out because it's worth less."
People don't go for that 100k GP goldsmiters apron because it's tough to get to level 68 and gain 100k GP and people everywhere will respect that...You know, because it was hard to get, and actually worth something.
The apron will do what the apron will do, no matter what it's cost.
Old school 75ers can feel they've been robbed or cheated or got the short end of the stick. But I guess what I'm questioning is that you make it sound like the new school 75ers will be "worth less" than the old ones. That they won't have the same expertise. I am only agruing that a bit less XP won't make that difference.
I can't see SE adjusting this so it's a breeze. They will adjust it to the point that you'll obtain 75 and if you haven't grasped XPing and your job's abilities by then, you never will.
...Let's just say it is a breeze though. A person that wants to play their job well will take the time to do that, even still. New 75s = Old 75s, especially if they have the guidance and support of the Old 75s, as opposed to having their spite.
A goal is a goal is a goal.
