I thought about making a guide for soloing him but there's some out there and I didn't take SS's or anything. But you kite him around one bush, down the little hill, back up the hill, back around the bush, rinse and repeat. If you ever do want to try it though, bring more than 2 stacks of Antidotes. Like 4... I started getting fucked up when I ran out because his 10/tick long ass Poison was eating through my stoneskin like a fat man eats through pie.
