Nrsss and NRHQ LS

LOL just watch, with the majority of the skilled players gone, theyre gonna start losing pops, and are gonna start begging y'all to come back

I should have made a post much sooner but seeing as how I did not have an account here that made it rather difficult.

My descent into madness began a little over a year ago after the leaders of the shell I was in decided to stop doing events. Nrsss tried to salvage what was left and start his own shell but by then many of the players had scattered to the four winds. I felt bad for him, I was thinking about the effort he was putting in trying to keep everyone together so I basically joined out of pity. The first few events we did were absolute fiascos, a horrible dynamis run comes to mind we didn't even have 2 full parties, but I kept plodding along and going to help out because I felt guilty about abandoning everyone there. I eventually joined a dynamis shell in an attempt to escape from Nrsss's dynamis runs. I'm glad I did because by doing that I've met some wonderful people. Then in another attept to escape some events I joined a Tuesday dynamis run...Nrsss changed the event schedule just so another player (who had accompanied me) and I could continue to do events with his shell...how thoughtful of him...DAMNIT >.<!!!!!!!

During all these events with Nrsss I noticed that certain players would do things that in most endgame linkshells would get you kicked for that kind of behaviour. A couple instances comes to mind...someone constantly going afk, if you can't be there for the majority of the event maybe you should tell everyone and log off so we don't think you're there and depend on you. Another instance someone was asked to come on their paladin, lack of tanks was a frequent problem, well that person didn't want to play tank so he logged off and came back in game after the event was done. Now because that guy is friends with the leader nothing came of that. Eventually I got fed up of this constant lack of tanks, as any paladin that would join our shell would quickly quit or go on break, I leveled the job. Yes I know, I'm insane. It was for the good of the LS, I took a much needed break and worked on that job. This leads to another minor frustration. My kingdom for a haste. Yeah there were a couple of white mages in there that wouldn't give me a haste to even start off a god fight with, fine I'll just lose shadows and die, whatever. It did get better in the end but that was only because the mages that knew what they were doing were covering other people's parties.

Leaders should be able to talk to their members and tell them what they need to do and why. If you don't plan on putting any effort into an event you waste everyone else's time. I don't want to have to spend my time recapping because of wipes that could have been avoided. And it is extreamly frustrating when someone is asked to do something and they don't do it which in turn causes the activity to be a loss when it didn't have to be. (Byakko at 1%, white mage melee and not raising...)

Oh about those 2 famous white mages everyone keeps referring to...I'm sorry Ghost but I'm still convinced it's a dual boxer. No two people can suck this bad in exactly the same way. They are always together, like joined at the hip or something. I refuse to acknowledge your reality!!!!! O_O

There were a few instances that were so frustrating that I wanted to rage quit. The instance that stood out the most was after a sky event he decided to do some diorite farming. He decided this after I had gotten a black mage to send me home. Some warning at the begginning of the event would have been nice. Now that sounds pretty boring and why would I be upset at missing something like that. Well it was because of his point system. He had decided that diorites were worth more in points than the 3 hours you spent sky farming or doing some other random event. That really messes with the claiming system. You rack up your points and regardless of how many you have, if its 50 or 300, if you have the most points for an item that is up for bid and you get it you lose all of your points. Now for someone who goes to every single event only to be beaten by someone who can't make all the events but does late night farming you could see how frustrating it is and how it would have been important to be there. I'm a person that hates wasting time so to have to run back up to sky to do this extra bit of farming was pissing me right off. There were other times when something similar in nature that would happen but I would just keep my mouth shut. I was also trying to save up for one more high profile item then cut down on attending events. I was looking for my freedom. I couldn't say if I was just pmsing that day but I pretty much had a brain agnurism on the spot. And its these little things that bothered me personally, they just add to the pile. I might have been some kind of pet in that shell, I know that Nrsss did not want to lose me and when a friend asked to give me all of his points Nrsss sent me a tell saying there was no way I would fall behind. But to me that's not the point, let everyone know ahead of time so we can adjust, be considerate in that way.

Now concerning the stuff Ghost was accused of doing. Many of those things could have been me, especially on that VNM fiasco. My frame of mind at that time was "I'm sick of this shell, I'm sick of people wasting my time, Just another one of Nrsss's hairbrained activities, This is stupid, I just wanna get my item I've been saving points for and gtfo, etc.". He wanted everyone to come on nuking jobs, I didn't feel like sacrificing the exp on my black mage for Nrsss so I came on my paladin it's easier to campaign. We ran around Jugner for a while popping nms and I was getting grumpier by the minute so I ran off to some secluded area popped an nm, died, home pointed, came back sub dancer and continued fighting my own things. I popped a tier one on purpose while Nrsss was trying to pop a tier two. I didn't get reprimanded for any of this. The only consequence to that was that I didn't get the 3 points for the tier two pop. Guess he couldn't get mad at the only tank that went to all the events. The others didn't show up as often as I did, real life obligations possibly, I don't know, I don't usually get involved in too many personal details.

Concerning the UFO farming I wonder if my comment made in jest was taken seriously, I'm almost sure it was. I can't get a high lot on anything except for feyweld logs and swamp ores. So I made an eye emote and for that I am sorry Ghost. I did tell them to knock it off but then they started harrassing you in tells.

Now about those eye emotes, I mean really, if you don't like someone just blacklist them. That's what it's there for. If you don't plan on using it then it's your own fault you whiney babies.

The last straw...Ghost being kicked from the shell. I consider Ghost to be a good friend to me and I feel that Nrsss was unjust with him, he'd already made his decision when he called his little meeting. Had I accepted Nrsss's proposal and become a leader (I can still hear a certain person who shall remain nameless laughing hysterically when I told him I was asked) I would have unknowingly gotten a front row seat. I'm certain that not all senior members knew what was going to happen when they got called for this meeting, that is my assumption and I have no proof of this. My only regret to not having accepted Nrsss's offer was that I wasn't there to defend Ghost. Believe me I would have put up a fight and put myself on the line. I was guilty of some of these accusations and I would have dared him to do the same to me as he was planning for Ghost, afterall that would mean one of his pets would be on the line.

I was one of the people that walked away that night. I didn't just burn that bridge, with my parting comment I set off a nuclear warhead and obliterated it.

This thread would be a lot more fun if Nrsss or one of his minions would post in here. But I'm betting they won't, because they are way too passive-aggressive.

i see where your going with this Hexx! i would like to add to this and say Pride will kill, Ruin a linkshell any day of the week

LOL so I gave Nrsss some shit just now about his group of tards, and he basically said that they booted Ghost because he was a botter. What do u have to say to that homie? And it seems they (NRHQ) are aware of this flame.

The Wizbot is what he's referring too. Yes, my name appears on it. No reason to lie about it, I bought it for a "meh, just curious on how it works" thing, 3 days before that list was made public by someone who hacked Wiz's database. Do I use now, nope. Did I use it for crafting while sitting at my computer to negate the tediousness of use crystal, insert items, craft, repeat.. yep, I did.

There's most likely going to be people flaming me now, meh, go for it. Send me tells anytime you want, strike up a conversation even, hell would break the boredom of a long day at work. Which is when I actually get to craft of fish. I do not, nor did I ever, afk bot. And I think that anyone who does so should be found out. Although if Nrsss had ever just asked about it, I would have told him the same thing I just posted here for the world to see. Hell I can even post the payment receipt and the day wiz authenticated it.

But whatever at this point. People have a predetermined mindset about bots, don't want this entire thing turning into a morality issue. Take whichever stance you want, its the individual person's choice on it.

There is a post on the NRHQ forums about that accusing him of being a bot including links to the post BG started. Makes me wonder if they are just posting that to justify booting him.

Bah, double post do to non-editable flame x.x.

I will respond, if I don't I'm afk, I am at work. But I guarantee you that my character won't be doing anything except standing there. Been spending most of my time fishing these past 2-3 weeks. So come on down to port sandy examine me from a distance, send tells when you see me throw my line in the water, whatever you want. I'm at my PC if my character is doing anything at all. ^^

Trash. Any linkshell hoping to maintain any type of reputation would have ditched you upon discovering this. If that's their justification for kicking you, then so be it, and I applaud them for it. They (the LS) don't really need to quantify it any other way at this point.

If you look at the screenshots that Ghost included, this was not a given reason that his pearl was broken. It was not their "justification" for kicking him. If you look at statements from the rest of the people who have quit, it was because of many, many other reasons.

This does not rectify the issue that Ghost is botting trash.

Ok, I'm staying out of the whole ethical considerations of the "botting" issue for now. What I will say is this:

The post on the NRHQ forums where one of their members pointed out that Ghost's name was on the list was made on the 17th of April. That's Saturday. Ghost was kicked on the Friday, the 16th. Granted, the list first appeared on BG at 3:30 PM EST on the 16th, but nothing was mentioned of it at all in LS, during the "we are kicking you now" conversation, or on the NRHQ forums until the following day.

Nrsss is blatantly lying if he says that botting was the reason Ghost was kicked. No one in that shell was even aware that he was on the list when he was kicked. Nrsss just got extremely lucky to have been provided what some would consider a legitimate excuse AFTER he had already kicked him.

Regardless of your opinion of that list and the people on it, Ghost's flame is still valid, and Nrsss and his shell are still a huge pile of fail.

Pretty much.

Regardless of your opinion of that list and the people on it, Ghost's flame is still valid, and Nrsss and his shell are still a huge pile of fail.

I'd argue that Ghost's involvement with Wizbot invalidates his gripes, but that's my take.

You can argue that. That's fine. It doesn't change the fact that you had quite a few people leave the shell because of this. Botting was not the issue.

The post about him botting came AFTER the fact and just looks as if they are using it to justify the breaking of his pearl.

Ghost has screenies of the conversations before and after his pearl was broken. No botting mentioned at all.

You wanna call him trash, fine. It wasn't the reason his pearl was broken.

Pretty much.

Tristam I am in agreement when you say that botters=fail. However, the argument still stands that Nrsss is using the botting as an excuse to kick him, POST kicking.... when it seems(from the SS) that the main issues had nothing to do with the botting. If the botting had anything to do with him being botted, one would think it would be brought up in the meeting of removal... agreed?

I believe that it doesn't invalidate his gripe, however I think that anyone that uses a bot can't really Q.Q. about a whole lot. I think that he is allowed to complain that this shell is garbage, which obviously it is. If his involvement with the bot actually had any bearing to his removal to the shell, YOU above all people should know I would have laughed his ass right off of QCDN.... BUT I can't see the connection between his removal and his bot TBH

I'm not inclined to go into some kind of long-winded diatribe about botting, but I think I can sum up my reaction to this whole "release of the list of names of people that purchased this bot" very simply:

There's a huge difference between the people who just play around with bots a little for fun and academic curiosity, and the people who abuse the crap out of them to take advantage over other players and generally make life hell for people in-game.

A list like this doesn't differentiate between the two, and is therefore, really unfair for judging people. If you want to persecute someone for using a bot, they should be persecuted for how they use it, not that they use it.

There's actually a few other people on that list that I know, that are good solid players. I'd really hate to see any of them get a bad stigma attached to their names because of this list. Someone who bought the bot literally 3 days before the list was released, and was only using it to play around with a little for fishing just to see how it works, and not to afk bot for hours to make tons of gil, or use it to claim NMs or something, is a far cry from the typical botting fucktards that I hate as much as you do Tris.

I've never purchased a bot, as my use for one would not go beyond the aforementioned "academic curiosity" of how it worked, and therefore is not worth my money. I also did not know, before the list was released, that Ghost or (any of the other people I recognize on that list) purchased that bot. I can tell you that from what I know of Ghost, he would never use something like that to gain an unfair advantage, and my opinions of him have not changed since learning that he bought it.

If others want to condemn him for it, then so be it. I can't justify his decisions, as they are his, and not mine. All I can say is that the purpose of this thread was to warn people of the asshattery of Nrsss, and how he and his underlings treat other people. If you want to say that Nrsss would have been within his rights to kick Ghost for having purchased a bot (with no proof of him actually USING it), then fine. But unfortunately, that's absolutely NOT why Ghost was kicked, and NOT why I, Venus, Kai, Ginny, and at least 2 other people that I know have since left the shell.

Had Ghost not been kicked on Friday, and then on Saturday he had been sent a tell from Nrsss saying "Hey, we saw that you bought a bot, and we have to kick you now," this topic would not have been made, and perhaps many of us who left that shell might still be in it. Honestly, I probably would have still quit, even if that had been how it went down. I had just spent my points, and I was getting quite sick of the stuff that was going on regardless. With one less friend to share the misery with, it wouldn't have been worth it to stay.

Call me "Trash" all you want, its your opinion, and you are entitled to that. As after admitting to it I fully expected some people to do so. The list, as Div said, was made public on that Friday. The SS proves that he had already decided to kick me, he even canceled the Wednesday's event not to "waste my time". I am an honest person, people would argue that due to the bot, but instead of saying something like "Oh that list is fake, I never botted." or "Its just fluff to make it look worse than it is.", I fully admitted it when asked in previous post. Why lie about anything, it will just cause more problems in the end.

No, there isn't. I had friends who confided in me that they'd "experimented" botting like Fleehacks and POS hacks etc, and I ratted them out when they told me because they were lessening my experience as well as the experiences of others ingame.

@jyak: I'm not saying that it's right to claim "oh, btw, we kicked him because he bots too" *after* a list of known botters is made public. I'm just saying it doesn't lend much to Ghost's credibility if that's how he chose to roll.

@Ghost: It does take a big person to admit wrong-doing.

I don't agree with botting but calling Ghost trash isn't really completely fair. I know people that have purchased and/or used bots just to see what they do and then not use them again. Its kinda like a test drive kinda thing. I don't think its bad. Now if he fucked over TONS of people using one, I would not be saying this right now.
