Yes you got your facts wrong, it's the companies who own the ships paying out the ransoms. The EU has a naval presence there, hence the French attack the other day and also the many unreported chasing of pirates by EU naval ships.
 
I've read that the French and the Russians have had a pretty big naval conflict with them. This is the first i've heard of the US. Everything else though hasn't been reported, or at least hasn't caught my eye.

Yeah the French have had a lot, not heard much from the Russians which is kind of surprising as you'd think they'd love for the West to hear how awesome Russia is. I've seen countless reports of German and Dutch naval ships fighting/capturing pirates though.
 
Yeah, it was on the news here the day the captain was recused. It talked about how the Russians ambushed a whole "fleet" of pirates with subs and destroyers.

After how the liberal media, particularly the New York Times, Boston Globe, etc. all but completely ignored (in a very PATHETIC attempt to sweep it under the rug) the Tea Party event that took place April 15th. An event that occurred across the nation with hundreds of thousands of participants, would that headline be so hard to believe?

Even if you completely disagreed with it, and to actually expect impartiality is impossible, my god at least do your fucking job as journalists and cover the fucking story. These newspaper whores for the radical left wing have ZERO integrity and it's no surprise they're going bankrupt and will be out of business in a few years. Unless Obama decides to bail them out too.

No, it's no suprise they're going bankrupt because their medium is over a century out of date. It's actually surprising Newspapers are still in business, to be honest. Very few things last beyond their time like this. Hell, racial segregation in the United States died out faster than the newspaper :V

There were ZERO stories in the NY Times owned Boston Globe April 15th. ZERO

It's an Associated Press article out of FRANKFORT, KY..... Kentucky!!!

They could not even be bothered to send ONE REPORTER to cover an event THOUSAND'S of people attended.

The BOSTON FUCKING TEA PARTY for Christ's sake.

There were more protesters in boston protesting the unequal tax laws for same sex couples than there were protesting taxes in general.

I personally didn't see a single protester here in Tennessee. I drove right by the 2 different post offices on my way home from work.
 
We had front-page photos and a lengthy story in our newspaper. It was my day to design the front page, too. I managed to avoid using the headline I wanted, which was Teabaggers go nuts. Instead, I used a much simpler Conservatives rally against government spending.

Yeah, it's not really true.

I just wanted to try and make you see how I feel when you report this made up skewed bullshit. That did happen, but there weren't that many people there. However they were at the original site where the tea party happened.

They stole the tea though. It defeats the purpose if you buy the tea.

It's not like they were protesting anything specific. It was a big anti-Obama hissy fit. Most of the people in those crowds were getting tax cuts. The time to start protesting would've been when Bush was racking up huge deficits by cutting taxes and starting wars, or when Bush started the bailouts.

Instead, they wait until the Democrat is in office. Of course.
