What? I don't think anyone is arguing that... pasq and lanien are just saying they don't think the story was so epic that it NEEDED more than one game to tell.
 
Not saying they were arguing it, just sorta throwin that out there.

What I AM confused about, though, is why Pasq or Lan would come into a Halo-based thread if they don't like it. Thats like being a die hard Christian and then hanging out with a bunch of Athiests. It just doesn't make sense.

I can't wait to start pwning n00bs with headshots again. I've had some good times with a sniper rifle on H2 in Slayer matches.

lol Being opinionated doesn't mean you can't partake in the conversation. It is the official Halo 3 thread, so both sides of the spectrum are needed to ensure a decent thread will occur.
 
Touche. I know full well that Halo isn't everyones cup of tea, as I said before. The same could be said of any person and any came. I do, however, respect your opinion since you've actually played both Halo and H2 and even the beta of H3. Thats alot better then just saying "well I hate it even though I've never played it".

We should really have a QCDN group going through halo 3 online campaign. Anyone else think so?
 
from what ive seen you will be able to turn assistance off. so that wont be an issue anymore, not that it was before.

Let's be real though... no one will turn it off, just like before. It shouldn't even be an option for multiplayer. It was an option for Halo 2 as well but by default it's turned on and shit, if it's there everyone will use it. If they don't, they're idiots. The only reason it never has been nor will be an issue for Halo players is because everyone can use it. However, for us people who think the game series is probably sub-par, at best, it's 100% damn fine ammo :D Honestly though, the only problem I have with the game is I hate it, probably safe to say I'll dislike 3 if I didn't like the others to much, and it pulls a lot of people from the games I do enjoy because it's easier therefore, more fun. I'll probably end up buyin' it though so at least I'll have somethin' to play when everything else takes a plunge.
 
You can have your opinion=D. I believe most of the what now... almost 20m copies sold of CE & 2... I believe they all enjoy the game and will enjoy the third. I am not falling into any type of peoples "i hate halo" stories. This game seriously looks rediculous. Looks like it will last years as far as replayability. Great story coming to an end. 3 Years of one of the best dev teams working hard to please... What more can ya want man lol. Nothing wrong with you not liking the game tho, hell you are going to buy it lol... I bet from there it becomes the game you play most on live... You will say oh i hate halo, but i play it more then anything else because... There is nothing else out there? That is the reason Halo 3 is the biggest game of the year, when it drops it will feel like nothing else is out there lol.

Eh, I doubt that. I'm more or less thinkin' it will only scratch the games I play for a short period of time. Story mode seems to be most peoples focus and once that's over, they'll be back.

Story mode is most peoples focus for Halo3? You serious? Sure we want to "Finish the Fight." 3rd installment to the multiplayer monster with some of the most incredible numbers ever... Over 5Billion matchmade games... No way to count the customs lmao, what 10Bill more? Bleh no need to explain this stuff anymore. Anyways i am really looking foward to the game. =D

i dont know a single person who buys halo just for the story mode. Its multiplayer for the most part, this will keep alot of people on halo 3 and halo 3 alone, multiplayer numbers in other games will drop alot with halo 3 out.
