Paris Hilton sentenced to Jail :O

If you listen to her talk about how she feels towards the sentence its easy to hate her. Shes the typical person who never thinks they are capable of doing any wrong. She has been repremanded again and again and again for her unlawful activities, yet never owns up to her actions like an ADULT. There is always someone else to blame. "I didnt know I was revoked" moments later "Oh my manager told me I could drive on a suspended lisence." She is an adult yet never acts like it. Now instead of thinking "Damn, I shouldn't of been driving DRUNK while on PROBATION -as well as- revoked. I do deserve to be punished for breaking the law." She wants to get an appeal based on "The judge was just after me."

To Paris, there will always be someone out to get her because she thinks of herself as perfect. She will never, in her pathetic excuse of an talentless exsistance, become anything or ever be responsible. And that makes it very easy to hate her and anyone like her.

Uh, if I'm reading this right it says "You are able to drink" at the top and above the crab is says "Gutoma Chisei" (I have no idea what that means) and above the dog it says "Kateru Sukiri." I'm not sure what the crap is saying below her vag there, the kanji is too small. Anyone else that speaks Japanese want to verify this? It's been a bit since I've studied my Japanese, but I know the katakana is right. I'm still amazed at the Engrish though. I mean damn, you'd think they at would hire a high school student with a GPA above 2.5 to write that.
 
I've been reading World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War, and the part about Paris Hilton being eaten by zombies cracked me up. Her little dog didn't stick around; it had a very "Fuck her, I'm getting out of here" attitude.

If Martha Stewart can survive "jail," I'm sure Paris Hilton can. The big difference is that Martha Stewart is smart enough to keep herself occupied. Hilton is dumb as a brick and will probably go stir crazy the first night and beat herself to death slamming her own head into the bars.

One can dream.

I think I can speak for many here when I say this in clarification - I don't hate her. I'm disgusted by her - by her lack of self-control, by her willful ignorance, by her (whether an act or not) "persona" of hedonistic, unscrupulous consumption, as well as her perpetuation of the whole "hawt, cool, and dumb as a rock" trope that Hollywood's been selling us for decades. If she believes that, she really is an idiot, if not, then she's just another fraud.

I don't begrudge her or anyone else one red cent, whether they've earned it, inherited it, or found it on the side of the road. I've got no vendetta against rich people. What I do have a problem with is rich people who think their money or fame not only does but should buy them a free pass through life. That's the attitude that earns Hilton the title of "rich bitch."

If it were about money? No, not for a moment; however, that's not what this is about. It's about responsibility. The fact that she probably thinks it's just about money is yet another thing that makes her stupid, and to a degree, her parents as well, since it's becoming increasingly obvious that they didn't put too much effort into using that silver spoon to shove some values down her bulemic gullet. Of course, they'd have to have some themselves for that to happen, and if they're grandstanding in front of the courthouse bemoaning the injustices visited upon their poor, wronged little princess, they're just as bad as she is, just not young, pretty, and in the limelight.

Trainwrecks like Hilton and Anna Nicole are responsible for much of how the world views our culture - decadent, stupid, and lazy. Sadly, human nature makes such walking tragedies fascinating, nigh impossible to look away from. If Hilton survives her twenties, I have every reason to believe some will still be fascinated by her a couple of decades from now when she's yet another Frankensteinish patchwork of plastic and botox, on her knees begging for a time slot on the talk show du jour so she can hawk her confessions book and get one more hit of her first and most potent drug - fame.
 
Reauland, I wasn't particularly saying that she's in the right as much as I was striking out at people who pretentiously hate someone such as she who is obviously sold to us as stupid. And you're lying if you think the majority have thought her out as much as you have. All that I know about her, thanks to what I've heard in tabloids, is that she has sex. You've filled in the blanks quite nicely.

No she is just stupid. You're defending her moronic "It's only because I am rich" statements of why she shouldn't go to jail. I am sorry I will agree they're like any one of us so that means she gets the same jail time. She needs to be shot. She can take her clothes off all she wants, but that wont save her from getting the shit beat out of her for complaining about 45 days in prison. For a normal person wouldn't multiple DUIs, driving on a suspended license, and violating parole land you at minimum 3-4 months? She is gets a month and a half.
 
Yes, usually anyone who is a second time offender of Driving while Intoxicated or Driving Under Influence usually is sentenced to 2-5 years DOC (Prison) with parol after 180 days good behavior and manditory rehabilitation. Also what needs to be taken into consideration is California's Three Strike law.

Under the federal Three Strikes rule, now codified at 18 U.S.C. § 3559(c), the defendant receives mandatory life imprisonment if he or she:

* is convicted in federal court of a serious felony; and
* has two or more prior convictions in federal or state courts.

First strike is normal sentence. Second strike is mandatory 85% of the maximum punishment without any possibility of early parol, and of course the last one is life in prison. This is not her first time being charged with a DUI which is a very serious Felony charge. So the girl should be happy she isnt being sent to prison for a 5 year sentence. She got off easy for what she did, which is why I find it even more mind boggling that shes throwing such a fit.

This is true.

She provides some people with something ridiculuos to argue about, and she provides others with pictures to oogle over.

She was stupid, but she makes good news, and is good at getting the attention she so craves even from people who do not like her.

How else she gonna end up in the headlines?

I'm not making any new point. He evidently misread what I had said completely, and did not support himself at all. Repeating the reason I say, "You're funny," would make it more than than the second time for me doing so. And now, you get to join these ranks as funny.

I don't see any further reason to flaimbate.
