If you NEED to use PCC, I wanna know what you people are fighting where such a small jump in accuracy is vital

So you use Victory rings over Sniper's too? But that's not even what I'm talking about. You said you shouldn't need to use PCC before 60 in your last post.

Maybe if I got into the Ninja mindset I would understand, but seeing as Im only lv 52 NIN atm, I cant really say much. I do see that NIN's stack ACC and Haste on their NIN's as priority, then maybe STR.

Any NIN wearing STR gear is a dumbass. You macro in STR gear for WS and that's it. On just about every job you never want to wear STR gear for TP. You wear STR gear for WS only, and macro it back out after the WS.

5 more accuracy at those levels, assuming you're not horribly gimped in gear, is barely going to have any effect at all. It'll be absolutely pointless if you eat sushi too.

I prefer accuracy gear + meats.

Edit: Also, when I made that post, Ruffy's post was mis-typed and he had said below level 60, so it was referring to pre-chiv chain levels, in which 10 accuracy will have a substantial effect.
 
After reading all this I see people are making things too complicated, I'll make it simple.

If acc is below 95% with chiv use PCC. If acc is 95% with chiv keep chiv on. Use gorgets for ws.

note: acc % is rough but if you are parsing below 90% acc after 50 or so fights it'll be pretty clear you need PCC on

Using sushi like most people do I would generally recomend chiv torque because you'll most likely be reaching acc cap. Once you are ready to enter the world of meat your acc gear will become very important to you

Even post 60, 5 acc will do more than 3 Str for Tping, even if both are negligable. And lets just say for the sake of argument that Str did make a big difference for you for TP. You would still be better off wearing the PCC and putting the 5 extra acc on your neck, and dropping a sniper for a ring with more Str than the CC.

Full accuracy would maximize your tp gain rate, but it wouldn't necessarily maximize your damage. That's why people who wear full accuracy setups along with sushi(or brd's who play madrigal when everyone eats sushi) are fools.
 
I didn't say maximize acc, I just said that wearing the PCC over the CC, and a Str ring in this instance would give you the same amount of acc, and more str then wearing the CC.

I don't see a situation wear CC would be an better option. The only way I see it being possible is if you need the gil.

The store TP might be useful, depends on the other gear you have. Chiv chain, Raja's and Brutal might be enough to help out some jobs. If it's the only piece of store TP, it'd be useless.
 
This convo is rediculous...

The OP is a ninja. Ninja's do not reach 95% acc with great ease. STR does not do much for TPing, Store TP +1 is utterly worthless for ninja. PCC is the better choice for TP if you are looking to optimize your gear. As for WS, get the sea gorget. Pretty easy to farm as nin and from all parses I've seen, the best choice for Blade: Jin.
 
store TP +1 sucks, but +7 might actually do something. It depends on the gear that he has more than just arbitrarily spouting off that one is better than the other.

My bad, I thought I was the 75 ninja with +6 Store TP from Rajas and Brutal Earring who used to also own a CC. Im so silly, I keep arbitrarily spouting off stuff I know nothing about though.

You're right, 3 str and 1 store tp is better than 5 acc. Idk what I was thinking...
