People who afk in front of Mog Houses (def whitegate)...

Well...it kinda is SE's fault. They made a zone where up to 700 people can and will be in. You can get to your home nation from it or Jeuno. You got access to runic portal.

People will be in that zone because it has everything a player needs. Se should have made it like Jeuno and split it into 4 zones to reduce lag. thus it is SE's fault.

I disagree.

People want to be where all the action is, before it was Lower jeuno, now its Whitegate, you will always see a big concentration of bodies there untill some other place becomes the 'in' zone to be at.

I think that's only half-right...Lower Jeuno was the "popular" spot but many people just wanted to be in Jeuno itself, and had the option of three others zones to be in while they did stuff (unless they wanted to grab AF, but that's not the point)

Aht Urghan has more accessability to zones, as well as the Runic Portal, Assault Assigner and AH...really, everything is in Aht Urghan, making it the place of most convenience, meaning people are gonna flock there. This makes it the new Jeuno, but without the blessing of being four separate, equally important zones; it's now one zone that does virtually everything and another zone that has chocobo, MH, and...well, that's all.

If they at least split it into an east/west Aht Urghan, it may help the lag considerably, but it'd be impractical since it'd make the zones "too small" as well as actually splitting the zones would take too much effort. It'd be easier if they took some of the things in Aht Urghan and moved them to Al Zahbi, or at least put them there too (i.e. put a second AH there and move the AF NPCs over there)

I wouldn't mind moving to Nashmau if they put a Mog House there.

Why cant you set HP in Al Zahbi?(sp)

Mostly besieged related. Don't need even more of a lag during besieged, plus those people wind up getting XP just for being in the zone when it's over.

Anyone caught up in beseiged thats afk or does nothing receives no exp gain, you have to participate a bit to actually get any exp, any mules standing about that get collatral damage from mob aoe etc can spend the next hour kissing dirt lol.

I've gotten 100xp just for entering the zone as they retreated. Are you sure they get 0xp?

Al Zahbi already has an AH, plus the Goldsmithing and Clothcraft guilds (Full Service) are there as well, plus the synth support for several other guilds. The biggest problem with Al Zahbi is besieged, most of the time things in Al Zahbi aren't functioning because some NPC has been taken prisoner. I hope they don't move anything else there, it's bad enough having the things that are already prisoner dependant in Al Zahbi already.

Al Zahbi has an AH? Never saw it on the map...but even regardless of that, one zone's usefulness greatly outweighs the other (especially since one is constantly shut down to be attacked by monsters)

I think that SE should have just made Mog Houses a totally different zone, instead of still being in Whitegate, that would probably cut off all lag

I wouldn't say "constantly" is the right word. I mean, generally it's 3 hours total every day.

Not sure how you got that 100 exp, but I've fallen asleep in the zone once while waiting for besieged (that's bad form I know) and when I woke up I got 0 exp. I was surprised to be alive too.

Though it varied based on how long the Besieged ran? Ah...

All the same guys, you seem to be semi-missing the point. ^^; Al Zahbi simply has considerably less use than Aht Urghan, and Besieged cutting in at times doesn't help any. Best alternatives asides adding some DC tool or splitting zones is to give more incentive to hang out somewhere else.

they need to move the pay warp taru to the northeast corner square this would balance the lag alittle. then also change the exit point or make door bigger to the mog house.
