it wasnt updated thats the same as it has been since the corsair job announcement. Puppetmaster isnt even up there yet.
 
Ah so i stand corrected. Everything at the top is not updated but the trailer is new. Why didnt they fully update it???
 
and I honestly think that's Alexander and not Odin <.<; cause Odin have darker armour, and that one is white/gray <.<;

He didn't, but when Final Fantasy XI first was released in Japan, there was a "bonus edition" you could buy which contained a painted map of the Final Fantasy world, showing both Zilart before it was released, a lot of mobs not in the game atm, and all the summons currently in the game, aswell as some that have not yet been released.

One of those were Ixion, one were a dark figure riding a horse (aka. Odin) and one were a light figure riding a horse (aka. Alexander). I believe Cereberus was also shown on the picture.

Either way, considering the fact we already have 2 dark summons, + cereberus coming up, it sounds highly unlikely that they would add yet ANOTHER dark-based summon. So adding Alexander first seems mroe likely to balance things out.

Nothign stops them from releasing both Odin, Cereberus and Alexander though, but I just think its more likely to add a light + dark-based summon (Alexander + Cereberus) instead of 2 dark based ones (Odin + Cereberus).

Alexander was a big, holy robot in FF7 ^^
 
Is there any basis for assuming that these are even avatars (cerberus and "odin")? Both of the images could be depicting NMs, bosses, or any other number of things. As for the debtate, Alexander has always looked like a castle-tank-thing. If they call that alexander they were high when they made the decision. Anyway, just my two cents.

he hasn't always been a castle thing <.<; he was a castle thing in FFVII, and in FFIX he only had wings

Besides, SE said they're adding new avatars.
 
I'm thinking Odin will be an avatar, but not summonable. They mention that there are five of the Celestial Avatars, and the only ones I've heard of so far in CoP are Phoenix, Bahamut, and Diabolos. I'm thinking he'll possibly be one of the next to show up in the storyline.

As for Cerberus, I only remember him being summonable once (FFVIII). I'm thinking he's just a boss in the game.

Edit: I'm really liking the action music they used for this. I hope it's new battle music (like how they used Onslaught for the CoP trailer).

Edit2: Fenrir is one of the Avatars too I believe. So four out of five. Unless I'm forgetting one. And also I'm thinking there may be more Celestials than just the five who were guarding the crystals.

Not to be an ass, but if you take a closer look at when he had wings, he was still a castle-tank thing, just with wings. If you check it out, he's actually making the city's castle look small.

You are correct when you said "I think fenrir is one", and the 5th is carbuncle.

Weren't they called terristial(sp) avatars though? Or am I just confused with something completely different preheps?

The other 2 were Carbuncle and Fenrir.

Yeah, it's either Odin or Alexander, doesn't matter. I'd expect both of them to show up, as for summonable? We'll see, S-E can think of something.

Besides the Celestial and Terrestrial avatars, I'm sure they'll be more along the way.

Also Swish, that music (3rd one) is going to be the battle music. I think it'll be the solo/party in-dungeon one, I figured this since when I watched the Corsair Demo (CRS vs. 2 Monsters), it was playing it.
 
Also, if anyone is interested and hasn't noticed yet, watch the trailer and right before the Corsair does a WS and the logo shows up, you can see the Hexagun clearly. Check it out if you haven't, it's pretty neat.

meh, I never took a close look at him in the game, but I admit defeat XD

Either way, doesn't mean they can't change him :P
