THEY HAVE WAYS! I wont tell you, but they have them! Beware!

You've just as much as Meez and his "hacking friend." Which is to say, not much at all.

Say what you wish, but go ahead and put it to a poll and watch as QCDN crowns your LS as the new kings of hax.

lot fun in this post I see. 50 billion gil gone /sigh that proficy of limbus and dynamis being for the rich is getting closer and closer.

Blabj should not be stripped of her/his post as mods because frankly he/she one the better mods we have on this site. Though I do think she should be banned in game for the action she/he did. Though as uzor said game and qcdn are 2 diffent things.

Big Wall of Retardedness

Jesus, you're pretty freaking dense. Get back on the shortbus, Romper.

They have players to rotate - guess what? Kill the workers, they just get new accounts and start over again, set back maybe a week in time, at the most.. Kill the workers, you don't get shown where the banks are. If the banks are safe, they still make massive profits.

Killing the banks eliminates months of work. It's a larger strike than killing the smallfries pulling in the gil. The items and gil the workers carry is nothing compared to what the banks are holding. How do you think they're eliminating 50 billion worth from only 250~ accounts? They aren't targeting the peons, thats for sure.

I'd like to know where you got where I said that the "sweatshops" were just a one person deal.

Another way to look at it, is that I only want things earned legitimately.
If it's M. Body or 10k manually fished up moat carps for my own handy dandy Lu Shangs, legit is the only way I am interested in obtaining anything in this game. Put in the time, get the reward. To some degree, so long as you've earned money, I do believe trading hard earned money for an item is fair as well.

However, if I found out I was amongst hackers, I would promptly disassociate.

The fact that it bewilders you says that you don't think this way. You'd take it all, cuz I mean fuck, you're holding it now, so why not?!?! Right?!?!? Right?!?!

What a fucking tool.

If you got a m. body and uncursed it. And then, a month later, you find out that the player that claimed Nidhogg bot claimed him. Would you throw the n. body away?

What, and pretend that the peabrained people who are the root cause of the issue have the ability to formulate complete thought? Most of the suposed QCDN proof comes from a single post by Nichole, which isnt even accurate, and an AIM chatlog from Necrosis which he claimes to be from Chronicles.

As far as we are concerned, the issue is resolved. And judging by the numer or applicants we turn away weekly, it isnt entirely an internal belief.

You can keep calling hax whenever you get beat, and we'll keep beating you legitimatly. If you truly had any evidence, you'd use it, because there's nothing anyone likes more than seeing the might fall.

Did you drop all your gear you got from OH?

In this case, I believe that the point is more that he wouldn't put himself in the position to recieve the M.Body at all. Two months after uncurseing, throwing it away will do more harm than good, because it means that you need to deprive another person of one they earned to replace the botted one, which also likely deprived someone else of it. Besides, if you think about it, its more fitting to take the piece and then use it against them at a later date

Either that, or they want to join a LS that arent affraid of using claim bots :p

More reason we'd turn them away, no? Our public and Private position on bots are the same. We dont condone the use of them. We have no "secret hax forum" like OH did. There's no one saying "Make sure Chron is in the main alliance for claim" or whatnot. I wont even claim that we're the only legitimate LS anymore either, due to the wide distribution of claims. I'd say that this suposed dominion of Hax on the Aery is gone. Unless of course Kaizen and Element want to come forward and say that they bot.

I never used any hacks that would give me an unfair advantage over the claiming of notorious monsters. I wouldn't need to, nor would I want to. It looks obvious as hell, most of the time it doesn't work, and why would I? I'm not in a HNM shell, I'm not even in a shell that camps NMs for the member's gains. I do sky, and sure there's the odd frustration with Ulli, like there is everyone, but I never for one moment even considered loading up Argus or whatever crap piece of programming to claim him.

I can prove this because, if you looked at my claiming record within my shell, you'll see that the only times I've ever exclaimed "MINE!" are times when there's been no competition, or the competition has been in the middle of killing a statue.

I never AFK botted, I never saw the need in it. I don't like fishing, and my computer is too noisy to run over night, so that was always out of the question.

Edit, and I say 'frequently', this was more to get you guys riled up. It was more like every monday morning around 9 AM, when I would use them to get to Fire in the sky. I can only think of one other instance within the last week of me playing where I used them outside of getting to the ENM, so it's only frequently in the sense that I did it on a regular pattern of times, not that I would load it up to zoom over to the AH in Aht Urhgan to save myself some running time.

*pops up with fire torch and pitchfork* hey, I came here with the bandwagon? :nyam:

I'd say put a bounty on gilseller's heads. If you report info that leands to a banning, you get gil.

Then you'd have RMT create characters to report themselves and the fish bots they are using on other charactes to collect the bounty.

And the world would implode.

No. Because as I've said before, I don't care what they do. Its their money, if they want to hack I don't care.

Besides, I got my gear long before they started hacking. Decidence got his gear from us before they started hacking. I got my gear around the same time. Neither of us benefited from the hacking.

In this case, I believe that the point is more that he wouldn't put himself in the position to recieve the M.Body at all. Which means he then benefited from hacking, which he said he wouldn't have accepted. In order ot hold true to his word, he'd have to drop his n. body, otherwise he'd be a hypocrite and lier.

So you'll be the only person left in 10 years that can claim a land god because you had to wait to do it legitmently? Sorry, but that would be too much time wasted. I am sure in your shell there are hackers and you have benefited from their hacking and you not knowing that hacked to get claim.

That last statement also applies to you, Meeze.

You've got to be kidding. :banghead3:

That far into it, probably not. Then again, I was unaware.
People have mentioned that everyone benefits from hackers in some way. I can see that. If at the time of claim I see one of my members hack to get a claim (hard to know for sure, but if I do), I wouldn't stick around to get any drops.

What I said is I would remove myself from associating with KNOWN hackers.

And it's N.Legs, btw. N.Body is Kirin.

or they'd start wars between eachother. They'll probably make that the next expansion

Final Fantasy XI: The RMT Wars

speaking about botting... I need to make a rl bot. That way I could be afk in real life, and the police wouldn't notice. Either that, or I could paly the game, and then turn on the bot to masterbate for me. That'd be awesome.

someone else said n. body. I just followed :p

Either way, the person is a known hacker once you discover it. So if you don't throw it away, then that means you keep an item that you KNOW a hacker got for you. Which means, if you don't throw it away, that you're not entirely clean. By your definition, just because the item was obtained before you knew he was a hacker, its suddenly clean.

Funny how that works. For yourself, its obviously OK. But for me, even though I obtained my items before they started hacking, my items are suddenly stained. Why is that?

So basically, everything Blabj have done in the past on the forums, is suddenly stained because he got caught hacking? Even though he himself said he'd stop using it now since it wasn't worth getting banned over it?

So just because he used a hack in the past, and he now says he regrets it, his mod powers would be stripped from him?

Hillarious. I remember Godpoing being invited back to Perseverance or whatever shell it was, even though he hacked not only once, but twice. Once to earn him a suspension, and once to earn him a banning. So he earns a third chance, but you wont even give Blabj a second? That, if anything, is double standard.

What exactly will throwing away said item prove? It won't punish the hacker. It wont punis the LS since you would have left them after realizing they hack.
The only person it punishes is the person that didnt hack and makes them lose gil spent uncursing the abjuration.

The thing is, a lot of people say they won't keep items obtained by unclean methods. So if the obtained an item by unclean methods without knowing it, would they throw it away in order to stay clean, or would they keep it and go against their own morals?

And its not only in this thread. Both me and Firestreak have been bashed a lot in the past due to us not caring that people in OH cheated. They call our items stained and undeserved (even though we got our items before they started hacking). So if tables were turned, what would you do? Would you throw it away? Or would you do like the rest and say it doesn't matter, because its different. Similar to how some people that were in OH and got their items, are OK. Because they regret it. It doesn't matter.

It all comes down to this: If its your own friends, it doesn't matter. You know them. But when its other people, the world suddenly falls appart and it'd get a front page story more important then Brittney Spears going skin head.
