See wat i did thar? Its real easy just to throw around one liners. I would know, I'm prety good at them. Unfortunatly, one liners dont make an argument, they're best used after you've made a point, which in this case you have not.

An old friend of mine was in Pers for a while, I think you can guess who. He told me on numerous occasions that members of Pers hack claims and hack for personal gain. I wouldn't be surprised like i've said before if 50% of people in end game shells hack/buy gil.

The issue with Blab and a linkshell is moot i believe, since i dont think he's in an endgame shell.

QFT. I already mentioned that he didn't use them to claim any HNM's or anything. He said it himself. You keep bringing linkshells in to the whole thing. It have nothing to do with it. Which is exactly why he should be kept as a mod.

As for your other question, no. he won't be kicked from my Dynamis shell. He never hacked while in Dynamis, and he learnt his lesson by getting suspended. That's enough reason for me to keep him.

for his sake, i hope his "suspension" isnt really a banning. some people never saw the daylight after being suspended during a banning. :(

First of, Blabj is sorry for what he did. He said it himself that it's not worth it, and thus, he would quit. Do you honestly think he don't deserve a secodn chance?

As for the modding. The mods aren't here to represent the community. They're here to do a job. Blabj did a good job, even while he was hacking. Wheither or not he hacked have nothing to do with how he mods a forum. Hacking have nothing to do with what's posted on qcdn.

Wheither or not he hacked have nothing to do with qcdn. It won't affect his judgement, or it won't affect which threads he lock. In what way would keeping him as a mod affect anyone?

Lots of people that get caught in game and IRL are sorry they did what they did. It doesn't change the fact that they did it. Call me right wing or old testament, but you gotta follow up and actually punish. There's a reason people continue hacking. That's because SE is too soft and lenient.

Blabj doing a good job here at QCDN is your opinion, and not a fact.

I don't want a known hacker as a mod. That's prefectly understandable. I asked you to give reasons why you think it's ok. In my opinion, those are really shitty reasons. We've both told our side. Not much more to say.

Given what I know of your view of hackers, I'm not surprised in the slightest. I don't have to steer any more clear than I already do. But thanks for being honest. ^^

Gee, more friends, how surprising. This wouldn't be one of the ones KICKED would it?

Fuck that, it's the players who are too lenient too. Someone does shit, everyone's all "Aww, it's okay, you're our friend, here, have a cookie, be a mod, happy yay."
Part of the reason this perpetuates is because people tolerate it. There's no real social stigma against it, and that makes it "okay". The same can be applied to a lot of other things, but that's another topic for another day. The point is that the community needs to start putting its fucking foot down on a lot of things.

Just how your reasons for not wanting blabj are oppinions, and not facts. And in my honest oppinions, those are rather shitty reasons.

I don't see why I should have to lose my position in a linkshell that I love and respect because I chose to do something outside of said activities. It never affected any of them within the shell, I never wanted it to.

And please, prove I'm not doing a good job. Since you can obviously see behind the scenes here at QCDN and can prove just how shitty I really am. Obviously I'm more than dead weight around here. Infact, fuck it, lets do what the majority of you want, lets get rid of the mods. Yeah, great fucking idea, lets indulge the forum with new mods, more opinionated mods, more mods prone to brash decisions like I've seen right here in this very same thread.

Then we can really start running a regime...

If you don't have a grasp of it by now, I'm not bothering to explain it another way for you. That's a complete waste of my time.

People have their opinions of the various mods around here.
Mine is that you don't deserve to hold a position as a mod any more. At least 2 other MODS see it that way as well. Whatever happens, happens. I promise I won't lose sleep if you remain a lolmod here or stay in your LS. But I certainly wouldn't have you, and gave my reasons. Are you confused as to why I wouldn't keep you around?

That's my only point. Not going anywhere else with it. To me it's not a debate. I'd drop you and be done with it. You see the wrong in what you've done, so you should be able to understand following through on appropriate punishment. So, about that double standard...rofl.

sorry but if i ran a linkshell, and someone hacked outside of it, yeah, id kick them.. because you cant always see what they are doing.. especially in dynamis where things are so laggy and there are alot of people are times....

you can say you didnt do it, but, alot of times, its your word vs theirs.

if i was on the opposite end, and in the member of a shell where i saw someone hack.... and they were confronted and weren't kick by a leader.. i'd have serious, serious issues with that.

when you wear a pearl, you representative of that shell.. not only yourself.

Of course, I'm not the most loved person in the shell. I'm sure some people can't stand me, and I'm thankful for them not to raise it during dynamis times, as it would cause major disruption (as we've seen in the past in GTC, bickering's and squabbles during Dynamis time eventually turn into mass distraction and it can all escalate very quickly)

Now having said that, and noting my awareness of people's opinions and judgements of me, do you honestly think I'd like to advertise the fact that I used said programs, publically, infront of 30-40+ people? Some of whom, given the correct 'motivation', could easily report me? Come on, I may appear to be an idiot, but I'm not that retarded.

If people wish to express their issues with my private use of hacks when I return (or hell, even now, drop me a PM) I'll be more than hospitable to discuss my motives for it, and my wishes I had not to get anyone but myself wrapped up in the mess I weaved for myself. The beauty of using the hacks I had for myself, and myself only, is that no ones is harmed by it but me and my reputation.

And I'll hold my hands up high, and say on record, the shells I've had the privilege of playing (lets stress that part, it is a game after all) have some of the most decent, out right enviable members in them. Even if they chose to disassociate themselves with me, I wouldn't be bitter or sour about it, because I did after all inflict it upon myself.

If you didn't notice it yourself, explaining it in an easier way is impossible since I've explained my views several times through the thread. If you still can't grasp something as simple as 1+1, I suggest you go back to grade school. This aren't getting anywhere arguing with people with cavemen intellect.

Jesus, you're pretty freaking dense. Get back on the shortbus, Romper.

They have players to rotate - guess what? Kill the workers, they just get new accounts and start over again, set back maybe a week in time, at the most.. Kill the workers, you don't get shown where the banks are. If the banks are safe, they still make massive profits.

Killing the banks eliminates months of work. It's a larger strike than killing the smallfries pulling in the gil. The items and gil the workers carry is nothing compared to what the banks are holding. How do you think they're eliminating 50 billion worth from only 250~ accounts? They aren't targeting the peons, thats for sure.

I'd like to know where you got where I said that the "sweatshops" were just a one person deal.

And you're posts have become nothing but stupidity becuase your comprehension skills suck. I never said just eliminate the workers. You seem to think that just banning the banker would do the good deed when the truth is those workers do have inventory slots everyone does. I am sure that more then one character is needed to hold the mass amount of gil that is held amongst all the players. If the bank reachs gil cap they need another character to act as bank because there hasn't been enough people that buy gil that is why if you look on KI Somepage Allakhazam any website that has IGE or whatever ads they are all having gil sales. They are having these sales because they are running out of customers fast and keep filling with gil.

The bank by the way can just keep restarting if needed. The key lock still doesn't win. They need full IP bans seeing as though if you take Sweatshop A and you ban that IP bye bye bank and workers forever. Will SE think to do so? Probably not because then you wouldn't have occurence of RMTs as much because they would have to find a new sweatshop, but you just simply think that key locking the bank will cause it to shut down when truth is we don't know what the RMT are using the mith swords for. We can assume they're just npcing them, using them for a quest that gives a good amount of gil for so many sword, using them to craft something, or simply tossing them. My natural guess would be they're NPCing them and until they have completely full inventories and possibly could transfer the gil over to bank then. Let us hold them to a higher standard first though. If SE directly banned the bank wouldn't they spread that gil out?
