The gil cap is what, a billion gil? Even RMT working non-stop would take a while to make that kind of money, and there's saying that SE will only ban one of the bankers. The workers would hold some money, but only an incredibly small fraction of what the bankers would be holding. Banning the workers does nothing but slow them down for 2 weeks; they've done it before and that's exactly what happened. Your plan to ban the workers won't do a thing unless they have a weekly banning; since that's not likely to happen, the most effective solution would be to ban the bankers, since that would hurt the gil sellers the most. You're really failing at looking at this from a strategic viewpoint, banning the workers would make some people happy but in reality it would accomplish nothing.romperstomper said:And you're posts have become nothing but stupidity becuase your comprehension skills suck. I never said just eliminate the workers. You seem to think that just banning the banker would do the good deed when the truth is those workers do have inventory slots everyone does. I am sure that more then one character is needed to hold the mass amount of gil that is held amongst all the players. If the bank reachs gil cap they need another character to act as bank because there hasn't been enough people that buy gil that is why if you look on KI Somepage Allakhazam any website that has IGE or whatever ads they are all having gil sales. They are having these sales because they are running out of customers fast and keep filling with gil.
The bank by the way can just keep restarting if needed. The key lock still doesn't win. They need full IP bans seeing as though if you take Sweatshop A and you ban that IP bye bye bank and workers forever. Will SE think to do so? Probably not because then you wouldn't have occurence of RMTs as much because they would have to find a new sweatshop, but you just simply think that key locking the bank will cause it to shut down when truth is we don't know what the RMT are using the mith swords for. We can assume they're just npcing them, using them for a quest that gives a good amount of gil for so many sword, using them to craft something, or simply tossing them. My natural guess would be they're NPCing them and until they have completely full inventories and possibly could transfer the gil over to bank then. Let us hold them to a higher standard first though. If SE directly banned the bank wouldn't they spread that gil out?
IP banning would be the best solution, but key banning is much easier. They might do it in the future, but for now all they've done is take the easy route; hopefully that will change with this task force they made.
Who cares what they do with the swords? You're pretty knowledgeable about the everyday activities of the RMT workers, but you don't seem to be capable of doing anything with it.
