Today, a number of accounts which were confirmed to have violated the user agreement by using unauthorized third-party software tools within FINAL FANTASY XI to enable abnormal in-game movement were discovered and have been suspended or permanently terminated.

Based on the results of an investigation, over 3,300 PlayOnline accounts have been either suspended or terminated on Sep. 26, 2006 for the malicious and intentional use of these third-party tools.

We would like to take this time to remind our players that the use of any third-party tools will not only destroy the in-game balance, but will also encourage RMT (real money trading) activities. We will continue to take strict actions against those individuals that we have confirmed to have used such tools.

Please note that some of these third-party tools may cause character information to be altered, erased, or personal information to be leaked to unwanted third parties. If you come across a third-party tool over the Internet, we ask that you please refrain from the download of such a tool, no matter how minor it may appear to be.

To ensure our customers could enjoy the game safely, we will continue to apply measurements to combat these third-party tools and violations.

We thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.

I don't know how many they've suspended/banned so far, but the one thing I'm starting to realize is the percentage of PC users who cheat is much higher than I ever thought.

hmm i still doubt they can detect windower probrably just the same flee hack and warp tools
 
Looks like they targeted flee hacking...again. We'll see if anyone gets banned from here this time.
 
I suppose if youre too lazy to walk to where you gotta go ingame or choco youre too lazy to farm.
If youre too lazy to farm you buy gil?
 
Damn it I can't get on. All I did was speed boost my self a little on my Thief to get to a place faster. I guess "Flee" JA shoudn't last 5 mintues eh?

with all the accounts they suspended so far, there are still those same fishing bots in quifim island that are pissing me. I mean you see a lv1 fisher w/o a subjob , fishing there, there is a problem. Gm wont move a finger on them this sucks. Instead of banning accounts they should make mobs there aggressives, and make Gigant Squid
mor difficult to catch so that a LV1 fisher cannot get it.

Thats pretty simple actually....
Never heard of a crafting mule?
Theres a legitimate reason why a person would have a lv 1 char with no sub fishing.
If the GMs are spending thier time watching a fisherman to see if he's a bot then they sure as hell aint watching gilsellers at HNM and sky. Get your priorities straight.

um, you can have a craft at lvl100 and still have fishing at lv100, so you dont need a mule to really fish. lol :)
 
It's alot easier to have a near empty inventory for fishing on a mule than a main character for crafting/fishing purposes. Alot less work to logout then login on a another char as well than organinzing mh gear.
I'm not saying The ones in qufim arent bots but you got plenty of plausible excuses that they might just be dedicated ect until they fish up a monster and continue to fish while being pummeled to death.
 
funny thing I reported bertiecamp before i read this. They still in oldton though. I also reported annaarnold and bertiecamp on my 2nd character when i shoowed up there.
 
bertiecamp and annaarnold are gil sellers miner i reported them like 3 week ago both got suspended and then came back
 
Starting to think the gilsellers are back in oz. a lv 68+ war with sardonyx + starter ring just screams gimped out gilseller cause no(ok most) normal players would be asamed to leave thier mog houses wearing that.
 
I don't get why you guys get heated over the gilsellers getting banned. Don't you remember what happened the last time a good chunk of them did actually get banned? They remade within a day and were back where they were before within a week flat.
