Followed closely by the bann-ies comming in a swearing all they ever used was windower, or "it was lag/w.legs/sister playing my character" or "but I only play on PS2!"

On another note, I use windower...Im pretty sure I've openly talked about it on the game. I've yet to be banned, suspended etc over it so I doubt that it is just windower that they ban people for but more flagrant abuses.

I knew I'd get perma banned. I told my LS to expect it sooner or later. I used FFXIAPP to get 60K Assault Points, about 20 regain/rebirth feathers, turn clipping off to open doors from other side for people, teleport around maps to save time (best use was tele-holla > sea > POS to sealion portal).

Then recently I have been using a strange combination of POS and Clipping to depop and pull mobs. I noticed that if I aggro'ed a mob I wanted and clipped through a wall off of the map it would teleport to me and then I could teleport it to wherever I wanted. Made farming for things easier. Then I could also aggro a huge group of things including an NM lets say, pull it all to camp, let the tank provoke the NM (or whatever they wanted) and I could force all the mobs to depop.

Yeah... I was really asking for a good banning. 6 months strong though!

I'm glad they keep doing something about it. I've never seen anyone flee hacking or anything of the sort though... is it common on Quetz?

You can overclock in more then one way. One is by using windower, alt-tabbing out of game, and set your computer clock forwards a few min. That way you'll constantly run faster, and won't even need a flee bot. Rather easy, no? You can also do the same by overclocking your comp.

And I believe most people that haven't used flee hacks, and still got banned for flee hacking (or found out they run faster then others, and not using flee hacks), have had their computer clock changed, and the game not noticing, either because they're constantly logged in (with windower or without), or just a random bug that caused the game to not notice, perhaps.

Although the number of innocently suspended/banned people are probably 1 in 1000 accounts.
 
So about 3.3 innocent people banned? Seems about accurate. But ya gotta feel bad for that guy who only 1/3 banned. Imagine, logging in and finding all of your pants perma banned. Would be a sad day, really.

I use windower but I keep my trap shut about it in game and I mind my p's & q's and never run the risk of having a GM called on me or calling one myself. It may happen one day that I get suspended or banned, but I can't bitch because I know what I'm doing, I know the consequences, and I still choose to use it. I just hate playing in full screen. My computer does many othe functions than play a game. Since I play that game quite often, I like to be able to alt tab and hit up the internet to check my email, or talk to my friends &/or family on msn.
I'm usually working on quickbooks or excel while seeking or crafting. Its just shear convience.

lol, yes.
...at least in the past. This happened to me once a long time ago on my laptop. Not sure what the combination was, but when it went from AC power to battery and/or back, I was running faster when the framerate supported it. Promptly restarted, promptly fixed.

SE can't detect Windower. Period.

Oh, and the overclocking causing movement speed to fuck up thing only happens on older systems.
