Well, usually it's only topics that directly link where to do the online illegal stuff. It's not like the people posting drugs are saying that they got it from the homeless dude on 49th street.

I covered this one already.

Talking about file sharing is fine. Me telling you that I have 25 gigs of music on my hard drive that I got from P2P programs is totally acceptable. Giving you a link to get a file for free that costs everyone else money is not. Just like talking about my past experiences useing drugs is legal, but handing you a bag of weed is not.

Actually that was the case in the major thread in this whole issue. He said where to get it, what it was, and even how much it was (excluding tax).

I don't think the debate is so much as on total censorship, but saying, "Hey this is what i did to get high, this is a good place to get it, and this is what it will cost."

I am stating that I've never told anybody where to buy drugs.

That drug from the "Groovy New Drug" thread is legal. It's cough medicine, and there are no laws against possesion or ingestion in any quantity.

I don't dig Gravity bongs. The smoke stays in there too long and gets all stale and harsh. Almost everyone I have ever seen smoke out of one gets a mouth full of water the first time too :-p

To each his own though. Thats why i usually just skip past most things you say.

Double post. Just because its legal, i don't think its right to abuse it like that. Cough medicines aren't good to be abused as hard as he described. I know it, and you know it too, that it isn't healthy to use it like that. You even advised against it.

Would you rather argue for something that is more dangersous and legal (groovy new drug) or less dangerous and minorly illegal (pot)?

I'd rather argue about my personal experience with each drug.

I'd rather argue that I can talk about whatever I feel like talking about on QCDN.

Which is basically what this argument boils down to. I don't care that you talk about whatever drug you've done. I don't care if you share expierences. Hell, i can give quite an expierece with something i thought was a cigarette. I just don't like having someone say "There is this really cheap awesome high i got that is perfectlly legal!!!" all the while leaving out the very dangerous risks that it involves.

I don't want it to sound like you should do dangerous things (You could die driving a car right?) i just want it to include a bit more of a tact i suppose? I really don't know how to describe it, haha.

It's up to the community to give input on things like that. If someone posts about something here it to get input and have a discussion about it. If you've been here a while, you know who is full of shit and who isn't. Eventually, you will learn to value certain opinions and completely discount others. If you log on to a random website and try to do some stupid shit you saw some random idiot talking about, you aren't long for this world in the first place.

I feel that's not too much to ask, at least requiring a label for the post much like the NSFW threads.

In the mean time, you can always make posts like "hay gize, I R hi, luk at me" in their dumbass threads.

Almost all of the objectionable threads are made by people trying to show off how cool they are. Just give them a post telling them what they are really acting like.

I thought in any solid scientific experiment you were only supposed to have 1 variable? Seems like the other drugs would probably skew the results. Just because someone is crazy, and does marajuana, doesn't mean that the marajuana caused the crazy.
 
I see where all of you are coming from. From the way I see it though...if you see a topic that has illegal drugs in it, then just skip over it. If you see a misleading title, please feel free to contact one of the Mods or admins and we can change the title to have something in it that would pertain to drug use.
 
There's a difference between a correlation and cause and effect. To prove cause and effect you'd have to take thousands of people, and keep half of them completely clean of marijuana and half of them give it and see which side develops a higher rate of psychosis. Just trying to match tells us nothing.

And LoL at editing my post to remove my tutorial, and the negative reputation from Makelith. I'm not mad but I think you guys are taking weed a little too fucking seriously for your own good.

I'd make a post in general as to my thoughts on the enforcement of victimless crimes, the high prison rate of nonviolent drug dealers in the US, the hypocrisy of what's legal and illegal,the actual cause and effect of drug laws...

...but it's got nothing really to do with what I feel about people being so touchy on the subject on this message board.

I think it's just dumb.

And I think people can make their own choices, I'm not convincing anyone to go out and smoke a bowl by casually referencing the fact I've done it myself. I'm also not going to lie and say there's a reason I can think of not to except for the fact it's illegal.

Then again there's a whole lot of reasons not to drink alcohol, but I do it. I've even chatted on this board about my favorite kinds of beer. Lately I've been into this import called Aventus, expensive but delicious. Of course if you drink too much you can develop liver disease, among other health problems. As well alcoholism can be addictive, unlike pot. You could die of alcohol poisoning, unlike pot. It's also just unhealthy in terms of dumping hundreds of calories onto you, unlike pot. Of course I can tell you what I drink, where to buy it, how to make a beer funnel.

Yadda yadda. I wish I could be angry but it's just too dumb to be mad over.

Also something else to think about. Pot is not illegal everywhere and in many places as well it's as good as legal, being unenforced, so I wonder if on QCDN two people from say, Amsterdam, could chat about smoking pot, which would be something they're allowed to do. If you say no, because in some places, it's illegal, then how about Saudi Arabia? There drinking is illegal,since someone from there posts here, then wrong to talk about that?

What country's rules exactly are we tied to? The US?
