Ok, i'm here, once again, begging for the knowledge and wisdom of my fellow Quetzy Server peers.

I need to know the true price on Arco de Velocidad:

I am posting it here, cause
1. No one can post a reply under the new AH forum rules.
2. Only 3 of these have sold in the AH, and the last one was for 5Mil way back in January of 2005 (Before the big inflation).
3. I hear it's very rare.
4. Reports of people in other servers saying it goes for amazing prices, some say even 20, 30, 40mil for one.


And last of all, if anyone wants to buy this, please PM me either ingame or here.

It holds great value because the NM absolutely requires a huge team to kill. Even pet classes need a pretty hefty team just to survive 10,000 needles.

I would guess probably 15-20mil would be a fair price considering the drop rate is awful and the NM is so strange.

Yeah I know what you are talking about the Jan. 2005 i was looking at this item for awhile and it ranged from 2.2mil to 5 mil then.
 
You might find people willing to pay 5-10 million on it just for the novelty/rarity but considering the stats and the alternatives I think it's relegated to the "Cool but useless" NM drop category.

I dunno, I don't think you're gonna find any other item in the game that can add a Regen effect, in a ranged slot no less. Granted it's only during the daytime (6:00-18:00), most Regen effect items are crap and take up a slot that is needed. For example, the Barone Body. Looks spiffy, stats are ok, and has regen...but let's face it, no serious WAR or DRG is going to wear it for EXP parties. This is a bow, and IMO a great Paladin slot for end-game/HNMs/etc.

as far as Regen equip goes, as a lvl 75 thf, i never leave home without my Presidential hairpin (bastok CP item), my Garden Bangles (regen during daytime) and under the circumstance that im in a region under bastok (lolrare) or in Aht Urghan Areas, Mushroom Helm, that ones just fun :P

They're relly great for soloing, inbetween mob spawns and such. I wouldnt mind have an arco, but yah im expecting the price tag to be waay up there. PLD-equipabe, +1 str even, and in a ranged slot. and the rarity of this to begin with.

I guess I'm failing to understand how what is very likely a 1HP/tick Regen effect that isn't always on and 1 STR is at all better than 4 VIT(and possibly some HP) in the Ranged/Ammo slot for endgame PLDs.
 
Rosenbogen = VIT +3, HP +10
Arco = STR +1, HP +10, Daytime: Regen

Overall Rosen is better, yes...but they're almost as rare at times, cuz the NM you have to kill to make the bow is a pain. I'm just saying, regardless it's a great item to have especially for PLDs. And considering how incredibly rare it is, I'd personally put it up in the 10ish mill area, but it wouldn't be much higher due to there being another bow that is slightly better but also rare (The Rosen).

I was actually talking about Bibiki Seashell, VIT +4, level 60, and a reward from a pathetically easy ToAU quest that involves such difficult tasks as "Talking to NPCs" and "Waiting until JP Midnight."
 
It's the better alternative to jobs who for whatever reason may use a bow to pull...also, it's basically a goblin grenade melees don't needto risk throwing.
 
Vit +4 doesn't match up to Regen, even if it is 1hp/tick, IMO. Depends on the buyer, I'm sure you can get 10mil for it if you haggle enough though.
 
Since the item is 70+ where PLD have issues getting exp, the Regen is an amazing helper in soloing while seeking. I wouldn't use it for heavy tanking, but STR and Regen on one item could really help if a PLD were to DD in a merit party. Between Auto-Refresh, and this Regen, one could really start to see the benefits of having it there for you.

I'd like to see its actual hp/tic, but no matter, it'd allow someone to just wander around instead of resting between fights, or speed up resting by that much.
 
I think the regen was tested by Dej as one hp per tic.

I would never buy this for my PLD. 1/hp tick = about 3 seconds does me absolutely no good. The +STR, possibly but definitely not going to spend several million on it. And the Rosenbogen is somewhat hard to find on the AH, but it's still a whole lot cheaper than the prices being thrown out for this. The reason I would just keep my Seashell or Rosenbogen is because in order to go as a DD PLD I am going to sacrifice some of my DEF PLD gear which means losing out on some VIT. Granted, VIT+ has dimishing returns post 65, but if I can balance things more evenly I am going to go that route.

Hercules Ring gives 3hp/tick, Barone Corazza 2hp. All other items are 1hp including Unicorn Harness, Presidential Hairpin, Garden Bangles, and I believe the lv70 nin JSE.

As a war, I'd love this bow for soloing. Ain't worth 10mil to me, maybe 1-2 tops, but a rich-ass war could use this for a soloing swap. 7hp/tick regen under the right conditions with the right equips.

a pld ring gives 3 hp a tick and 1 mp
