Mmmm, contradictions. The other servers had their HNM times screwed all the same by all worlds maintainance, but they're handing out those Koenig Bodies anyway.
 
Well good luck to gettin a full alliance of people up at 6m-11am in the morning, everyday, ready willing and able to camp these HNMs consecutivley, what other servers achieve, I could really careless, maybe some LS's are just lucky to have people who don't pay bills, go to school, and able to play the game all day to do those things.

Ironically, the JP prime time that Fafhogg (which I'd assume is the one we're talking about) was stuck at for so long, was a 3 hour window from 3-6am JP time (2-5pm EST, if my conversion is right). The JP alliance kept it there for the best part of a year because it gave them the best chance getting claims, and they were able to keep it there because they were the only ones in the Aery. It wasn't slept, it would just wander around unchallenged until the end of the window, when it would be killed. It's not a conspiracy, it's a tactic that can be used when there's zero competition.

Behemoth always rotate quickly because the NQ dies so fast and there's always competition. Aspid tends to rotate times quickly as well. Unless there's zero competition.

Considering for over a month, since the expansion and thensome, there have been maintenances at 2pm EST every monday. Any King dies, the window drops back to 11am-12pm EST (8AM PST), the next day even earlier. Then it slowly starts to move back into NA time, oops another maintenance and back to the start we go. I'm doubting any NA LS's are going to have enough people to claim and kill Fafhogg this early in the morning after the first or second day. Which is a big reason why you haven't seen us there.

(now back to reality) I completely agree. Most NA's are at work or school during that time of day, and during the summer there's going to be a better chance by maybe an increase of 3-4% of the teenagers who don't have jobs so they stay up all night, the majority of the chances are though that those teenagers will get sick of staying up and just start sleeping in and making up excused why they weren't there. Guys we live in America, one of the "Laziest" countries in the world. its a fact, people won't do more then they feel like doing albeit for a game or anyone else in Real life, people are selfish and lazy.

Its not like people remember that stuff in the long run i mean does anyone remember the first NA nin or sam at 75?

It might take awhile to think about it but Im sure someone knows. I know the first BLM (Dibson) and DRG (Vampi).
 
Well.. from what it seems most other servers people are willing to wake up to rediculous times just to log in and camp a HNM. Or some even have FFXI installed on their computer at work and play there sometimes. So they tend to have loyal members that are up and on whenever the HNM window is around. I don't know of any NA LS on this server that has enough people up at like.. 5am in the morning to camp something. I haven't seen much of any NA LS fighting and camping stuff at such late/early times.

perhaps :P but there are those that get up and go not for themselves but for their LS. Atleast, from what I was told Serise doesn't do much else in life cause he always wants to (or in the past atleast, wanted to) be around to help lead his LS and whatnot.. *shrugs* then again.. that's just what I was told.

So when you start treating FFXI as a job 40 hrs a week job(M-F). PLUS 24 hr overtime on the weekend(12 hrs a day) only THEN you will be able to camp everything ^^;
